I was expecting Trailer to be out with Fitoor , now looks like it'll come in Feb end, maybe Shah will release it in cricket Asia cup programme for better exposure.

MANGALURU, FEBRUARY 10:

The Udupi-based gaming studio 99Games Online' will produce the mobile game for the forthcoming production of Yash Raj Films (YRF) - FAN - starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Rohith Bhat, Chief Executive Officer of 99Games Online, told Business Line that FAN: The Game' will be available on Android and iOS platforms from February 29.

In fact, 99Games had worked together with YRF to launch Dhoom:3 The Game' when the Aamir Khan-starer movie was released in 2013. The game witnessed more than 20 million downloads.

While Dhoom 3: The Game' was all about bike racing, FAN: The Game' will be about connecting fans with the superstar.

Shah Rukh Khan plays double role in the movie. One is Aaryan Khanna, the superstar, and another is Gaurav, his ardent fan. In the mobile game, Gaurav will help the game player to make connection and meet the superstar.

Though it may sound easy to play, but the fan has to cross 75 levels in the first part that includes crossing obstacles such as other fans, paparazzi, bouncers, and the internal security of the superstar.

Further levels will be released with an update pack on the day of the release of the movie.

Asked about the expected downloads of this game, Bhat said they are expecting more than 20 million downloads. They are expecting nearly 3 billion minutes of estimated game play by the users.

Launched in 2009, 99Games Online has published over 16 game titles with more than 26 million downloads globally till date.

well if he launches it there he will get a bigger platform

I am soo excited for this movie!!!! I have already watched the teaser atleast 50 times and I dont know why I kind of have goosebumps while watching it...😆 this movie is gonna be very very unique and special..❤️

The Udupi-based gaming studio, 99Games Online Pvt Ltd., is developing a mobile game for Yash Raj Films' forthcoming venture Fan', which has the Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

According to Anila Andrade, associate vice-president (operations), 99Games Online Pvt Ltd., FAN: The Game' revolved around the journey of an ardent fan and the challenges he encounters to meet the superstar he idolises. It is a game about connections.

Fans can connect with the superstar Shah Rukh Khan at his residence Mannat, in a film studio, in a cinema hall or simply at a mall and prove that they are his Sabse Bada Fan!' or his biggest fan. FAN: The Game' will be available on Android and iOS platforms from February 29.

The studio had also developed Dhoom: 3 The Game' in collaboration with Yash Raj Films (YRF) for the Aamir Khan-starrer which hit the screens in 2013.

"Following the success of Dhoom: 3 The Game,' which garnered 20 million downloads, this is our second Bollywood movie game association with YRF. We have been working very closely with YRF while building FAN: The Game,'" Ms. Andrade said.

With 75 levels at launch and engaging game play, Fan: The Game' will also offer an opportunity for players to collect exciting rewards. Further levels would be released with an update pack on the day of the release of the movie.

The trend of working with movies to solve the discoverability of well made games was now gaining a foothold in the Indian gaming community and the gaming studio was leveraging its past experience of building Dhoom: 3 The Game.'

"We will be using the movie as a promotional vehicle for discoverability of the game by launching it well ahead of its release slated for April 15," Ms. Andrade added.
