Varun Dhawan to play three generations in Sriram Raghavan's film

Varun Dhawan is geared up for 'Main Tera Hero' which is about to release, but his forthcoming film with Sriram Raghavan seems like a role of a lifetime for him.

The film, is a dark edgy thriller, and will see Varun Dhawan essay a role in which he has to play three generations. The film co-stars Nawazudin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi, but two actresses are yet to be signed across Dhawan.

The film kicks off in April 2014 and is expected to release in early 2015.

Varun Dhawan's other forthcoming films include 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' , 'Any Body Can Dance 2' and a project with Mohit Suri

Sounds like an awesome role

He will nail it. I am sure he will become a star with different type of roles

Excited for this film. The cast is awesome - Nawazuddin & Huma!!!🥳

I'm loving it already. This will give him an opportunity to show he is versatile.. from comedy (MTH) to romance (HSKD) to this. It's a big responsibility and I hope he comes off with flying colors. Huma and Nawaz are in too 😲 Lovely 👏 I'm sure this is gonna be great. Can't wait to know who the 2 actresses opposite Varun are. ❤️

ek hasina and johnny gaddar
loved those films a lot
varun is doing great
he is choosing wide variety
i think it'll be a very good film to watch.

Yes he is good when sticks to his kinda cinema.

Varun has a comedy film (MTH), Romance (HSKD), Thriller (Sriram film). Dance film (ABCD) and Tragic Drama (Mohit Suri film)

So he sure does have wide range there

@Nick: Is Varun confirmed for ABCD2? I read articles saying that Karan Wahi is going to be the lead in that film, as he has 3 film contract with UTV.

Haha. I dunno about him but Remo confirmed it early this year around Guild Awards time

Ah then it's good as Karan wouldn't have been able to stand upto professional dancers like Lauren and Dharmesh etc. Thanks for clearing up. :)

Yeah I saw Wahi on JDJ. He is too average non versatile dancer for a film like ABCD

So ABCD is like indian Step Up now
