Haha i haven't watched Besharam tbh😆 After watching that train wreck of a trailer, i din really have the guts to watch that movie😆 I haven't watched Saawariya either and i couldn't get myself to complete Anjaana Anjaani😆 So am probably biased cos i have only seen his best works till date😆 Ranbir looks way too urban to pull off a tapori character..I cant ever see him in a movie like Ram Leela either cos he just doesn't look the part..I think Ranbir is called brilliant not only because the guy is talented but also cos of the kinda movies he has been doing the past two years..Compare that to what the superstars have been doing and you obviously feel he is better..I do think Ranbir is a brilliant actor but to each his own i guess cos all this is just a matter of perception:)

P.S. I was just trying to mention how acting doesn't really count in Bollywood when it comes to BO success😆

In all seriousness though, ask any actor worth his salt and he/she will give you the same answer whether it be Aamir or Kajol!

Ranbir is all about realistic portrayals, SRK is all about hamming.

It's not important that only others think that you are a good actor. You should also have the courage of conviction in your acting ability. That's why Ranbir can opt for a Barfi within 5 years of his debut while SRK is still stuck to his same, old ghisa-pita lover boy routine for 25 years, except for the blip of CDI. Come to think of it even Salman has probably attempted more generes and character variation than SRK.

I dont really like Kajol but have to agree with her here... Ranbir is any day a better actor as compared to SRK..

I love Aamir and find him very versatile yet when i compare how early in Ranbir's carrer he started experimenting with his roles, i probably will rate him at par with Aamir..

Yes he needs improvisation at certain roles, like say a tapori role.. The guy is still young, has a long way to go, he will learn..

but IMO, he has been brilliant in most of his movies like say rockstar, barfi, rocket singh, Wake up sid, rajneeti all different characterizations.. 👍🏼 He was good in sawariya and APKGK as well..

The only two movies of SRK's that i have really liked him as an actor is CDI and Swadesh (My opinion)..

SRK is like her office husband, to choose him would be to choose herself in a way.😆

That said when SRK acted with Kajol, he was trying to establish himself.

He was young and fresh looking. It was easier to get into characters like Raj because you did not see SRK, you saw Raj.

In CE I saw SRK the star, not the actor.It was easier to buy Deepika's role though I had already seen her on screen that year

I also agree that in terms of choosing scripts and being braver in earlier films, Ranbir wins over a whole lot of actors, not just SRK.

It's okay if you believe Ranbir is a good actor and a better one than Shah. But all that you said about SRK's career is not true.

Ranbir is doing exactly what SRK was doing when he entered the industry. While all the other heroes were following the success formulas and the accepted trends, SRK was earning fame through his negative roles in Darr, Baazigar, Anjaam, Ram Jaane. And instead of doing loverboy roles, he was doing more character-driven roles in RBGG, KHKN, KA, YB.

It's so easy for people to just claim that he's done only lover boy roles. It's completely unfair that his roles and persona in those films completely blew off the roof and superseded his stardom. People and the audience have loved him so much in those roles that it follows him everywhere.

BUT it doesn't take away the fact that SRK has given such brilliant performances in Dil Se, Josh, Chak De, Swades, Mohabbatein, Don, Veer-Zaara, RNBDJ, MNIK, DDLJ, And it never will.

SRK is a brilliant actor. Give him the role, and he will knock it out of the park. Yes his last few movies have been bad choices. Hopefully, Raees will do him justice. But there's no way that he's any less to any of the 'great' Bollywood actors.

Kajol was always clear about her priorities. Family first. She was never into acting for the sake of it. She fell into it, was unexpectedly good at it, left it when it suited her, keeps coming back when it suits her. Kajol is from a filmi family and is surrounded by filmi friends. If she was an outsider who married an outsider she would never have come back to films, ever IMO.

just bcoz she is BFF with SRK she doesnt have to suck up to SRK and of course thats what makes them unique 😆

Well in current scenario RK is attempting better characters and movies with more scope when compared to SRK..Besharam as a movie had terrible script,characterization,songs,lead heroine and direction...CE was comparatively better than Besharam in every dept...Infact DPad won most amount of appreciation as an actress through CE...But SRK was terrible there more or less on par with Ranbir's hamming in Besharam...his worst performance till date imo..Also for every BAH & Besharam that decreases Ranbir's credibility as a performer there is also a Darling yeh hai India,Trimurti,Guddi etc in SRK's case...Its hard to save a trainwreck of a movie though both SRK and Ranbir are actors who have shown they can rise above the script...Examples being Rockstar and JTHJ

Most ppl who came to KWK ranked Aamir above SRK..here she ranked them equally inspite of JTHJ-SOS tussle...Ofcourse ppl wud conveniently ignore that 😆...So let the bashing commence.Though I am sure SRK doesnt mind these rankings even 1 bit😛
