True. This is such a good movie and she could actually bring in so many variations to her role in this movie. She could create a good pairing with both Abbas and mammooty.

I love her in all of her films. I feel like her filmography minus the masala flicks is impeccable. She probably has the most under-rated performances and characters from all the mainstream heroines of her time. It's much easier for me to list the movies are don't like b/c there's probaly 4 or 5 and everything else...I LOVE. Her Tamil films are WAY better than her Hindi films. I don't know why but she sinks in so deeply. Meenakshi in KK, Ragini and Pushpa/Kalpana in Iruvar are so powerful. Maybe it's the filmmakers but I def think she is a director's actress. And if she works with the right people she really delivers.

Her best for me is Bino from Choker Bali. To do something of that nature at her peak was risky but so brave. Plus I love the look. This is how beautiful she is in real life...without the makeup and gowns and shit. Her in her own skin--priceless. And the fire she had in her eyes and the fact that Bino is a grey character and yet you feel for her.

I really love her indie films like Raincoat and Shabd too. And Shabd was a pretty decent story with a effed up ending. She's honestly done so much variety and I love this woman. Special mention to Josh b/c she did an excellent job as Shirely too. And JA and Guzaarish was so underrated. Again I can go on and on and on. 😆

Agreed! She was so fiesty in that role. Usually BW never does a good job with book adaptations but Rajiv Menon and Sujatha did an excellent job with the script and casting. I thought Aish and Mammootty were so good together and very natural chemistry. I love the scene where Dino's character comes to see Meenakshi and you can tell Meena really loves Bala. Aish and her eyes--the way she captured the confusion and love with her eyes was brillaint.

4. Kandukondain Kandukondain (aishwarya was amazing must watch)
5. Guzaarish, Guru, Raincoat, Provoked
