in low altitudes (depend how much low) sometimes due to clusters n all it becomes difficult for radar detection(it genrally doesn't happen)...but these days very high sensitive radars are made...unless the plane has a jammer which jams all the signals emitted from it its nt possible to undetect it...now when it comes to jammer, the radar has to be in implemented in the same plane or a near by plane which will emit signals which will cancel out the signals from the boeing 777...so now question comes...how is this possible????

The article did say they took a lower altitude but I think at that altitude the radar could still be detected.. What is surprising is the article wrote that " its transponder and other tracking systems apparently switched off " .. I'm doubting the pilots..

See this video, one of the pilot on the MH370 caught calling the girls in the cockpit & smoking in the plane..

I know they are not focused on other passengers on the flight but apparently 12 to 14 passengers were chip designers of various countries working for US. Would love to know what work they actually did.

this incident has only one very likely explanation! The Malaysian Government is hiding something! They defo know something! They have to!

In these days a dog can't get lost let alone a giant B777!

I guess I missed the joke.

This mystery is beyond me. Though I don't think the people with the stolen passports are terrorists. Somewhere I am glad they didn't find any crash wreckage and hoping that the plane landed safely at some remote island. Prayers for the people on-board and their family and friends. This is scary and makes me want to ditch flying altogether.

The Malaysian Authorities apparently are not investigating the terrorism angle anymore because the guy who was travelling on stolen passport was being expected by his mother at home😕

Woah! Really?

It strengthens my doubt that the Malaysian govt. is hiding something!

I am not believing in any bizarre theories like alien abduction or attacking by high power missiles.

The plane is likely underwater in the ocean. It could be anywhere in the ocean. Do you know how big the ocean is and how deep? Find my iphone features won't work at the bottom of an ocean nor will tracking via satellite. It took 2 years to find the main body of the air france flight that went into the ocean. 2 years!

Hmm the area that they think it went down in is only 165ft deep. But the plane could have diverted from its path.

The 19 year old was seeking asylum in Germany. I think traveling with stolen passports is lot more common than we think; apparently it's very common in Asian countries where they have lax security.

I think the aircraft may have emerged into the ocean and the debris/wreckage is yet to float to the surface. It took a few days for debris to float up to the surface of the atlantic ocean in the france air incident too and a further 2years to that for officials to even discover the main parts of the aircraft such as the black boxes.

imo this was not an act of terror (unlikely because a. No group has come forward to take responsibility and b. An act of terror would be carried out in a visible and apparent manner so as to cast fear but here the plane has simply 'disappeared'). The france air crash was sadly due to a combination of factors - bad weather, mechanical faults and human error (the 3 pilots were negligent). But in the instant case from what I have read there were no adverse weather conditions atleast.

Malaysia is claiming all sorts of things such as 'hijacking,' 'sabotage' and 'personal/psychological problems' of the crew members or passengers. Honestly I think they are just as flabbergasted as the rest of the world and are clutching at straws.

I have been thinking of those who perished in that awful Air france accident (may they RIP) and the current disappearance of the Malayasian plane. I cant even fathom the kind of trauma and terror those passengers in the french plane must have gone through when they were plummeting towards the sea, to their deaths, mid flight. The sad thing is although the officials were able to recover some bodies of the passengers after the initial accident, others were never found and 2yrs later when even more bodies were discovered at the bottom of the sea bed it was decided that they would be left there. There was no closure for their families and loved ones, no proper goodbye. I hope against all odds this plane has not met the same fate. My prayers and thoughts are with all those who were on board and their loved ones.

I read the transcript of the final conversation between the 3pilots in the Air france incident and it was sad, eery and truly depressing.
