She was amazing in Heroine and Talaash. Also she was praised a lot for her performance in these movies..

BTW, Where's KHUSHI? She was hilarious in Khushi ..one of my favorite Kareena movie ..I guess her performance in Khushi was quite underrated.

Talaash has GOT TO BE IT!

it was an award worthy performance! so subtle and real!

khushi is debatable! I personally didn't like it- thought she was too OTT! cute but loud!

kareena should thank that kangana was not around when jwm came around. cos, till yesterday i believed that jwm - one and only kareena could pull it.

but today...nah...if imtiaz had given it to kangana..this girl could have pulled it off as good, who knows even better.

too bad we are so stuck with these kareenas, and katrinas and god knows who, that at times we don't even think there is more to cinema than these flashy - over rated stars.

and no, vidya and priyanka chopra deserved it more than kareena.

The main/major difference between Kareena and Kangana is ~ Kangana CAN'T make a movie hit simply on her own. Like Rajjo tanked, Queen is about to be a flop, BO collections are disastrous and very very low. So Kangana ain't producer's favorite choice to invest money on.

Whereas Kareena pulled Jab We Met on her own and made it a huge success ..

PS. Not talking about talent/acting/performance ..just Box Office power and success .. Peace 😳

jwm started slow.u really think jwm became a hit cos of the kareenakapoor. jwm became hit because of the movie itself.imtiaz ali ka naam suna hain. real badhaai should be given to him. for believing in kareena, and giving kareena role of a lifetime, AND making jwm a hit. YES.. kareena should be given full on credit for bringing character geet to life - making it an icon. no, ppl didn't rush to see jwm, meaning rushing to see kareena.

now which kareen's solo movie is a hit?

do you know kangana's tanu weds manu was a hit. a clean hit. she got the most praise in recent outing - krrish. kangana is not as big STAR as kareena. kareena being a bigger star than kangana have zero box office pull. then what to expect from kangana.

on topic ..i think she deserved for jwm and got it. i also felt that since there wasn't much competition in 2006, she could have and i say she should have got for omkara. but sadly they gave it to kajol and kareena had to settle for critics.

other than that, none of the movies kareena really deserved.

she came close, very close with heroine and talaash..hell i will take her performance in EMAET over these 2, but vidya and pc came out really strong, and won deserving.
