Okay i dunt understand most of the complaints here at all...i'll just address the flabby comments coz the rest is people's opinion...which i dunt necessarily agree to but oh well...

in the films itself, arjun is pretty fit looking...for christ's sake...half of gunday was slow mo shots of their oiled bodies...if arjun really was flabby, im pretty sure that would have shown with those ultra high def slow mos...abhishek never dared to do that onscreen coz he was flabby...arjun, on the other hand, isnt...

I mean, in which universe is this flabby?


he might have gone flabby during the gunday promotions, but that should hardly matter as long as he looks fit in his movies...which he does...

evidentally, he dosent look "as ripped" in 2 states which makes sense coz he dosent need to for that character...he looks exactly like krrish is supposed to look...IMO, he dosent even come close to looking ugly in 2 states...i actually thought he looked pretty good and very much in character...

so i dunt understand the arguments here abt his looks...
does he look like abhishek face wise, a bit yes...
does he come across as being as lazy, hell no...not to me atleast...he shows wayy more promise than abhishek ever showed in his decades long career
is he flabby ? READ ABOVE...

Arjun is looking fine in Gunday, it was during the promotions of the films that he started looking bloated! I am thinking that he put on weight for the role of Krrish...even in the book, the character is described as being not so fit and smart looking.

^^ yeah but he puts on weight during the promotions or when hes "not" shooting for a film, why should that bother anyone to the extent of including it as one of his shortcomings as an "actor"...? hes not technically "acting" when hes promoting now is he...

i understand if he looked flabby in his movies...it might not be aesthetically pleasing. But he looks fine in the movies...

and he did put on weight for krish...yes...but not to the extent of "abhishek flabby"...



i just dunt see how THIS qualifies as a lazy flab ass...😕...i mean this? really? abhishek's paunches can literally be seen in Dhoom 3, Dhoom 2 etc...and ppl are comparing him with arjun? 😕

^^pssth...hes playing a "healthy" punju guy with confidence issues and an inferiority complex...he actually looks really good for such a character...

u know females in bolly have it easier in that sense...when they gain weight, its "curves". (*cough*parineeti, *cough* vidya, *cough* kareena)..when guys gain weight, even if they still maintain a flat stomach and a fairly chiseled frame, its flabby...😆

I agree as well. ..his prob is tummy area..even his dancing suffers cos of it...He is not a bad actor..but I want himto choose projects which will increase his range. ..except for two states all have been action..tevar also is action..dunno about fff..his role..maybe drama. .he looks fab in ishaqzade n some parts of gunday..let's see what 2 states brings

I don't want to comment on his physical body because I don't think that's important. I don't think he's fat or anything, but people pay too much importance to looks here (which is inevitable)

My problem with Arjun is that he's a horrible actor in IMO. He has a terrible voice, and has this whole "lazy acting" thing going on. He lacks screen presense and is boring on screen.

Ishaqzaade mainly belonged to Parineeti and Gunday has worked more for Ranveer. I just don't see him going anywhere, in THAT sense, yes, HE could be the next Abhishek. Abhishek also had few highs and lows and eventually ended up nowhere. I can see Arjun going that route. Except I think Abhishek is way better actor while Arjun "looks" better.



They are insignificant for me...as for Arjun... I think every other newcomer is a lot better than him and has a lot more to offer...like Aditya, Sushant, Ranveer, etc. I think even Sid and Varun have more of a future than him, even though they have a long way to go.

no I don't see arjun being the next abhishek, arjun has only done a few movies and so has time to grow and improve.

He does look like krish. But the issue I had with his acting from wat I saw in the 2 states trailer is the lack of energy. I know he is playing a geek and is insecure, but he also needs his character to stand out. His dialogue delivery was in the same tone and he wasn't giving a lot of facial expressions.

yup he is not a abhishek. his daddy is not going to invest BIG on him like big b did. his daddy is way too busy with his doosri dulhan in mauritus holidaying, and will get busy to invest BIG on his doll janvi.

so..thats why, its all upto arjun, himself, do all you have to deliver. believe me his time will run out much sooner than abhishek's.

Yeah, its so obvious Janvi is being prepared to foray into acting soon, I just hope shes actually talented and not a waste. Hppefuly Srideiv has trained her well,

So far, all the big heroes and heroines star kids have been sad and unsuccessful (Abhishek, Uday, Esha Deol, Fardeen Khan, Mithun's son, etc etc) Pretty sure Arjun will soon join that list.
