2 States was first offered to SRK & Ranbir Kapoor - Page 2

SRK and Vidya had this script for almost 2 years. At that time, Vishal Bharadwaj was supposed to be directing it.

Ranbir would've perhaps been the best choice. I don't know if he would've looked the part since many seem to be saying that Arjun looks the part..but acting wise, Ranbir definitely.

SRK would have suited the role 15 yrs ago not now

South Indian characters are the flavour of the season, she could have rocked with Chennai Express and Two States but sad she chose to do insignificant flowerpot roles where she was trying too hard to play a north Indian and failed.

I don't think it was her choice. She was kicked out of both CE & 2 States. She was the flavor of the season... she signed some big projects... these two projects got delayed.. many thing changed... new flavors were introduced... old flavor got dumped.

If she had dated a few A-list heroes for long term, she could have become the flavor of many seasons.

Thats true she was supposed to star with SRK and being south indian ce would have suited her and two states which too was to be with SRK i think!!

I think these are good choices...they are playing college kids and then later they grow up etc.

SRK/Saif would have been wayyy too old...unless they were thinking of making him one of those students who join college late in life.

If SRK or Saif ere in it...they would have to get Anupam Kher or AloK Nath to play daddy :P
