Arjun doesn't look Krrish Malhotra, he IS Krrish Malhotra...I don't think even Chetan could have imagined anyone else playing him better than Arjun! He looks perfect for the part! ❤️And Alia looks gorgeous and thankfully not like a 12 year old dressed to look like a 24 year old! Plus, she actually looks like a South-Indian girl.

Amrita and Revathy are spot-on!

10/10 for the trailer...this is a FDFS film for me!👍🏼

PS: There might be a reason why the trailer gives out the entire story...the books was a best-seller in India, the cache audience for the film will also the same set of people who have either read the book or atleast know the story by now! So no big deal about keeping it a secret in the trailer!

But I loved the rest of the cast. Thank God for Amrita Singh and not taking Kiron Kher. N Thank god for an authentic Tamilian actress Revathi instead of getting some random person to play OTT Tamilian. Liked the dads too. I think the Tamilian dad used to act in one of the colors show. He was too good in that.

Other than that this brings back my terrifying memories of being called a gori madrasi in Delhi for many years. Ppl clubbed all southies as Madrasis. Cringe.

i agree that the music is blah, and perhaps there seem to be some scenes lost in translation especially the funny ones...

i disagree with the arjun and aalia though...i cant seem to fault them coz they are playing the characters they way they are supposed to (assuming the characters are the same as written in the book)...and aalia dosent look or seem childish to me and seems like the bold, independent girl shes meant to be...and krrish's laziness and confusion gels well with the way arjun is playing it...so far atleast...

heyy smarie 😃 ..I m sorry if my comment came across as rude but I just had to make sure there wont be any arguments..didnt mean to target those who liked the trailer...but u know the whole forum dynamics has changed so much now 😆 (last time I actively posted were in Lootera review topics and there was this whole lot of negativity around Ranveer,...wheras now the entire scene changed and all of those shifted to Ranbir 😆) so m not sure anymore how to express my views or whether I wud offend ppl aise hi 😆

hmm u maybe right...lost in translation,could be the case...Arjun has done a decent job expressing the confusion of the character but kind of failed to retain my attention through out the trailer with the narrative...Alia seems immature for this role...maybe its me...like yes she is bubbly,spontaneous but the fire is missing...I mean the exuberant,feisty vibe is missing for me...,and when I see the interactions b/w the 2 characters I feel their reactions and behavior towards each other are not in sync with each other...like the rhythm is missing...maybe its cuz of the way trailer is edited...My view might change when I actually watch the whole movie..for now dissatisfied.

Krrish assumes Ananya to be a bookish types, but she is not like that at all. As in she is brainy enough to get into IIM, but she is also the club-hopping, extrovert kinds!

I can emphathise with the last part...being a South-Indian myself and questioned all my life by my North-Indian friends and their parents on how come I am not 'Kaali'?😕😆 That was all I could do to stop myself from bashing their heads with a club!

Trailer was just okay.. I like Amrita Singh.. She should sign more movies..

KILL MEEE.. why is Arjun so freakin hot.. maaayyyn...The trailer is very cliche.. We've seen this before but I'll definitely watch it for Arjun.. I don't care about Aliya but she looks good.. OMG OMG ARJUUUNN

Lol true. The best part of Aishwarya winning the Miss World contest was she put Mangalore on map and I will forever be indebted for that cos now when I used to say Mangalore ppl had some idea about it. 😆😆
