I agree with people who said that Abhi was so different back then when he came on KWK with PZ. He was so funny and natural..didn't seem insecure. Now I think the pressure of being Amitabh's son and not being successful is getting to him. Hence the insecurity and the bashing of the current successful actor..Ranveer.

The entire actors giving more importance to packaging than acting. not that he is a great actor or anything, but when i read the TOI interviews of actors, be it tv or movie, biggest chunk of their preparation is the look. How they looked, how they toned up or down , grew beard, shaved head, and very little is said about how they tried to enter the mind of the character, understand him.

But that is what the industry is about. Ofcourse looks are important, do you think went to see Ram Leela, because they wanted to see "good acting, no, Deepika is hot and im sure girls like Ranveer, and people WANT to see that.

I don't think you need to have a six-pack, but you need to be in good shape and be presentable. If someone is really into the "art of acting", then go watch a play. This is the entertainment industry, people want to be entertained and ofcourse they mostly want to look at attractive people. I have sometimes refused to watch certain movies because I don't see any good looking actresses in it. Im sorry but that's just how I think and I know for a fact there are MANY people out there like that.
