I am a big fan of Deepika and she deserved to win the Filmfare this year - Parineeti Chopra

It's normal to feel jealous when your rival walks away with top honours at Filmfare. But not if you are Parineeti Chopra. The actress who was nominated alongside Deepika Padukone said she (Deepika) deserved to win every award for her stupendous performances.

"I am a big fan of Deepika and I have told her that. I am very happy she won the award. Congratulations to her. She wowed both audience and critics with her performances. If someone else had won it, that would have surprised and disappointed me," said Parineeti and also added that she was happy with the fact that she got nominated.

Well, it's good to see one rival effusively appreciating another's performance.

Highlighted part - Dig at someone? Parineeti and Sonakshi are clearly having some sort of war. The highlighted part wasn't necessary IMHO.

And tomorrow for damage control, she is gonna say Sona was fabulous in Lootera😆 Ppl go crazy promoting their movies these days😆 Sid is relatively calm in comparison to a lot of other actors & their verbal diarrhea during promotions😆

Parineeti is PMSing or what? Whats with all these random digs at Sonakshi? N Parineeti seems like a ppl pleaser and ass kisser of ppl who are "in" at that moment. Like DP is right now more in demand than Sona.

Deepu get along with priyanka and pari. I wish we get to see deepika pari priyanka in a movie together.
