Katrina Kaif-Ranbir Kapoor delay film: They have pushed dates of 'Jagga Jasoos' together ahead
While being together, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif never declared their love to the public. So it's odd to see reports of their getting back together coming out now.
While it is possible that they may have sorted out their differences, it is also a fact that they have pushed back the dates of the film they have to shoot together " for Anurag Basu's detective comedy Jagga Jasoos " to next year, thereby pushing the releasing date too.
Dates dilemma
The January schedule has been cancelled. Jagga Jasoos was to release in October this year but Katrina has given bulk dates to Bang Bang for ofrom February onwards. Ranbir too has given away his dates to Bombay Velvet from till April. Post April, Katrina will resume shooting for Bang Bang. After which she begins shooting for Fitoor. Meanwhile, Ranbir will get busy with the dark thriller Roy.
Says a source, "Ranbir could have shot in April and finished off scenes where Katrina was not required but he didn't want to. It suddenly appears as though they are more interested in their other projects more than this one. When they should be excited about this one, as it would allow them to spend a lot of time in each other's company."
Deliberately delayed?
The film will now release on May 29, 2015. Ranbir is co-producing Jagga Jasoos with Anurag Basu and he was extremely excited about the film as he plays a detective for the first time. "RK even had a promotion plan in place for the film. like a TV show called Jagga Junior, comic books, animation and cartoons. But now both Ranbir and Katrina have given dates for the film much later this year," adds an insider.
However, Kat's spokesperson says, "May 10 to June 10 Katrina and Ranbir's dates are set aside for Jagga Jasoos. Post that, they will shoot for it again in July-August. JJ was pushed to next year because PK is releasing in December so Bombay Velvet date will move.
