Anushka will top in 2014 - with P.K, Bombay Velvet and NH10.
Alia will be the surprise of 2014, as she's sure to win lots of critical acclaim with Highway, which may also do well commercially thanks to Imtiaz's popularity. Then she has 2 States and Humpty Dulhania which should do well.
Katrina also is going to have a strong year. Bang Bang is her big ticket to a BB this year, and she'll be hoping to get some kind of recognition as an actress with Fitoor and Phatom. I doubt that Jagga Jasoos will release this year.
Deepika who undoubtedly was the star of 2014 may lag behind this year. Commercially she'll have Happy New Year and critically she has Finding Fanny Fernandes - so while it'll still be cool year, she may not top. But with Window Seat in 2015, expect her to shoot back to No 1.
Then you have Vidya, Kareena and Priyanka who may end up surprising everyone. ;) Priyanka will have a success in Gunday, although all the attention will be steered towards the lads. But she's sure to impress with her histrionics in the Mary Kom biopic. Kareena has a guaranteed success in Singham 2 - and if Rohit Shetty decides to give her a character close to Meenama, she may get to show her impeccable comic timing again. Then of course, she has Bombay Samurai which should do the trick critically - and may become the sleeper hit of 2014. Vidya has 2 small releases but they may storm the BO, just like Kahaani did. Shaadi Ke Side Effects should play well, while her best bet is on Bobby Jasoos.
Everyone is talking about Parineeti Chopra,. She has 3 releases this year but nothing is really striking out. HTP looks mediocre from the promos, but she's sure to win laurels for her performance. Kill Dill is questionable due to Shaad Ali being the director. Her best bet is Dawaat-e-Ishq.
With films like Action Jackson, Tevar, etc.. Sonakshi Sinha isn't going to impress.
