Jai Ho had recorded decent day one of 16.5cr approx with Mumbai turning out to be best performer. Movie opened bit lower than y'day at most single screen belts and multiplexes in morning. Key was pick in eve and night shows. Eve shows shew nominal pick at single screens but decent pick at multiplexes. But plexes of Dehli and East Punjab are still low, collections were low in morning but picked a bit in the eve shows.
At All India level movie's average occupancies today are more or less same to y'day but with night shows yet to report one can expect better night shows today as tomorrow is National Holiday. Y'day night shows went down hence collections came down then expected but today they must pick to show atleast 10% growth. As per early estimates movie is looking at around 18.5-19cr day two taking two days total to 35.5cr approx. Movie must see huge jump tomorrow to cross 60cr barrier over the Weekend.
