She never took her career seriously right from the beginning. Look at Ranbir Kapoor and the niche he's carved for himself through his film choices. He's already become a bigger star than Kareena in a career spanning seven years. Fourteen years and she still hasn't learnt which films she should decline. It's a shame really.

It seems like she is blaming everyone for her downfall except for herself. Instead of saying she will say no to friends, how about "I have made some really bad choices but i am planning on changing them from now on". She has been in this industry for more than a decade and has a huge team of professionals that are paid to give her good advice. She has absolutely no excuse for picking the wrong films. Even if Karan Johar came to her, she could have easily declined and stated that she has given her dates to RL and it would be highly unprofessional to turn it down. No, she was hesitant to do RL because Ranveer was not a big actor at the time and after all the Khans, she was not confident enough that the movie would do well. So as soon as she was offered GTPM, she decided to take it because at least it has Imran. Kareena's problem is not that she does movies for her friends but due to the fact that she picks movies based on who the actor is.

She has been in this industry for so long and she came from a well-known family, but she only has once great performance (JWM). That is just sad. She has so much potential but all she cares about is who is the opposing actor in the film.

Rohit Shetty with anyone has always worked at the box office. Why is she trying to give credit to herself for the BO hit? There is nothing special about her so called combination with Rohit. Replace her with any actress, those movies would have still performed the same way they did.
