Their chemistry is not quite in the league of Hrithik-Aishwarya or Kareena-Hrithik, but it's pretty darned close

It's really hard to chose, deepika nailed it as naina, Meenama, leela.

I really loved her in YJHD, that movie was better than CE and RL but i voted for Meenama because that role was very difficult yet she did such a good job, she was outstanding as Meenama

So I voted Meenama

Meenama was hilarious and adorable and Deepika's comic timing was great. I think it was a difficult role. 👍🏼

I'd say Ram Leela was the most layered and complex role of Deepika's this year, she did really well, especially in the dramatic scenes. 😃

I can't chose. 🤓

Agree. I don't think it was a challenging character to begin with, not just for Deepika. I found Chennai Express annoying, but I liked only her in it.

I felt Deepika was the highlight and saving grace of all of her 4 films in 2013. However I can't choose between Chennai Express and Ram Leela. It is a tie between Chennai Express and Ram Leela as Deepika performed the best in those two films as well as had better written characters.

She was brilliant as Meenamma...I doubt if anyone else could have done that role as brilliantly as Deepika...

Meenamma!!!!i am a diehard meenamma fan! She is so funny and cute.

I love srk but meena was the best thing in ce.

Meenamma! 😎 Ironically it also happens to be one of the worst films of the year. Comedy is one of the hardest genres and she excelled in every scene. How far she has come from her days of "alien/robotic acting" as I used to call it! 😆 It was especially gratifying to see her outshine and outclass the so-called 'hero' every step of the way. Bravo! 👏
