Or debuting with srk on biggest hit of that year is 0

Even before 'Cocktail', it was 'Khele hum jee jaan se' and 'Lafange Parindey' which changed my opinion about Deepika's acting skills. One could see that she is evolving as an actor in these two films. I was even impressed with her in 'Chandini Chawk to China', she did those action scenes so well! Truly hadn't thought after watching OSO that this girl would go on to evolve so much as an actor. Loved her performance in 'Piku'.

It's more like a phrase of progression. Going from being a below average actress to becoming one of India's top actress of her generation. Besides Anushka, she's the only one who has that 'act' in actress. In my opinion at least.
