This is how every PR article should be. Kareena's PR didn't ditch other actresses to make Kareena look good. They didn't kick an actress out of a film and say Kareena replaced them.

Only thing is that they mentioned she was offered Ranjhaana..which isn't too bad.

So this must be her response to the rumor that Deepika was going to replace her in Shuddhi, because that took steam because many people preferred Hrithik to be paired with Deepika and not her.

I think if Kareena lost complete popularity like Rani Mukherji did, it could actually be quite liberating for her. Because then, she wouldn't base her decisions on what trends were working at the B.O. or if there is an item number in the movie or not. It would really be on if she related to the script overall. Reading this was a bit disappointing. After such a long run, going after masala films isn't really going to do it anymore. I guess the real game-changer will be Shuddhi...if that does well, she has a chance. If it doesn't, well she's had a long career.

Did we read the same thread? ..because 90 percent of the members commented that they want HR with Bebo and not Deepika. Only ones who probably want Deepika in the film are her fans. Even the director himself said that he got great feedback and buzz after Bebo was announced to be in the film because ppl want to see Duggu and Bebo together after 10 years.

I'd rather see Hrithik and Bebo myself, but I can't help but think if that Deepika replacing her rumor didn't start, we wouldn't be seeing this article today.

I have checked her filmography next year and she is having a good nice number of 3 films at the year end, with a special song appearance too. I see she is doing good.

If this news is true that Kareena has a new career plan...well that's great news. She can't give up on commercial films because she needs boxoffice hits just like every actor does.

I don't think she is turning to unconventional roles because she isn't offered commercial roles..she still gets offered films like Shuddhi and Singham 2 and even Raanjhaana. I think she finally realized she needs to step up her game in the acting department and do interesting roles.

and what was she thinking? I just finished satyagarh even though I initially switched it off but tried to see it any how- she has such a weak role, even amrita rao gets a better deal there

Wait so if you didn't read the 30 plus pages how do you know majority preferred Deepika over Bebo? I read all the comments and majority wanted Bebo. Even some of DP fans want Bebo in the film because like I said Bebo-Duggu create more Buzz than DP-Duggu. And like Desu said Duggu and Bebo already have fans waiting to see them together..Duggu and DP never worked together to even have fans. Even the Duggu fans want Bebo instead of DP.

And keep in mind this forum has more Deepika fans than any actress. So majority that you saw wanting Deepika in the film are most likely DP fans. And am not the only one who pointed that out. But outside of this forum people would rather see Bebo and Duggu back together. Like I mentioned earlier the director himself mentioned the kimd of positive response he received after announcing Bebo is in the film.

And I don't think this article has anything to do with DP replacing her..it's has more to do with Bebo not having a great year and announcing to her fans that she has a new career plan.
