^^ I absolutely agree. Valentine's day is the weirdest time to release a masala. The other movies at least have unusual story lines. Gunday seems such an obvious movie. Really don't think it will work. I want it to work though. I want both Gunday and Highway to work.

well gunday isn't a big romantic movie but so aren't the other movies, HTP is a coming of age story, highway is a journey story and SKSE is about handling a marriage, so none of them are solely romantic, although all four of them have a love storyline in them.

And what I found funny about highway was when I looked on the comments on youtube when it was released, most comments were about being excited about ar rehmans music, a lot of them didn't care about the movie.

I don't think valentine week will be an issue..gunday will do well. Ranveer is popular now, not many are gonna miss it. I don't think its a typical masala, it got a story.

Gunday has chance of working as it does appeal to the indian audience, highway more tricky as its not something many would go for and also alia has done one movie and so she is still relatively unknown to the wider audience. Also the movie doesn't have a strong male lead which is important for a movie in india to do well.

Highway, I want it to work and if the music is a big hit, it may just work out. I think people will go for HTP and SKSE.

True Gunday does have a story, and there is news that it has a big twist in the storyline to do with irfans character. Irfan khan being in the movie makes me believe its got a good story as irfan chooses his movies wisely. And the songs seem very upbeat and chart topping and have good visuals aswell.
