The only constant thread that runs through the Dhoom series is Abhi and Uday, they are playing the good guys, so technically he is the hero, the villains come and go. 😛 Take out Abhi and Uday, then you have to rename Dhoom 3 to Comedy Circus or something more appropriate.

When the original Dhoom released, there was no star, it still did well, all main characters were given an importance.

Fact is, there is no Dhoom without Abhi and Uday, and I for one only watch the Dhoom series for them. :D

This is also a fact that villain, babes, stunts and bikes get more attention than Abhishek and Uday in Dhoom movies. He's the hero yet nobody wants to feature him in promos. Wait for D3, even Jackie Shroff's few scenes will be more impactful than ever-constipated Abhishek and cartoon Uday.

The only thing I agree with Abhishek's interview is that Dhoom franchise itself has become bigger than stars. Rest is his self consolation nothing else.

The original Dhoom had both Abhi and Uday paired up with babes and bikes, they both had hit songs, they both were given significant screen time individually as well their camaraderie together, they were also appreciated for their performances.

It's funny you say constipated Abhi when the only constipated face constantly being shoved in our faces is the mahatma Aamir.

The only reason this film can even be called Dhoom is because of Abhi and Uday, it's a tragedy that the film-makers decided to exclusively focus on the star in D2 and D3, a film is the product of teamwork, not of single individual stars.

Lol Abhishek you seems a nice guy. But lets face it, in Dhoom the vilians are the hero's, in dhoom 1 was John and Dhoom 2 it was Hrithik! But agree you are part of Dhoom of course too!
