Reports are pouring in from all corners about how people are loving R..Rajkumar. Shahid , who was so far more popular amongst the classes has this time won the hearts of the masses. The very day R..Rajkumar released, critics bashed it left and right, some even refusing to rate it. But riding on a strong word of mouth feedback, the movie has performed extremely well so far.

Even when his last few films were not doing well at the box office, people were all praise for him. He is one such actor, who in spite of his seniority or experience gives his 200% to every character he plays. Having mostly played urban romantic roles, everyone is in love with this rustic Romeo who can go to any extent for the sake of his ladylove. Replete with comedy, action, dance and romance, this one is an all-rounder.

Not one to be pompous, the man is humble as ever. A special screening of R..Rajkumar was organized in Mumbai , where Shahid personally thanked his fans. Recently, he also threw a party for friends and colleagues besides thanking everyone on twitter. From here Shahid moves to Haider', which is an adaptation of Hamlet' by the acclaimed director Vishal Bharadwaj. Shahid claims this is his best role to date. The film is being shot in Kashmir and the first schedule is already completed. Shahid has also signed another movie with Prabhudeva, which is expected to go on floors by the end of 2014. Grapevine has it that his phone hasn't stopped ringing. With a bunch of hit numbers in his kitty, he is being flooded with offers to perform in award functions.

Much to the dismay of those who had written him off, Shahid is back and how! A darling for his fans, a brilliant actor and a perfect gentleman, here's wishing him luck for all his future projects.
