I really don't think Ranveer is worried. He just is who he is. He doesn't need Bollywood, as his family has enough money of its own. He also seems to have a lot of long-time friends who are just now making their mark in the industry. I have a feeling RS will be writing/directing in a few years time as opposed to acting.

Whatever its trajectory, I'm sure RS's career will be unique!😆

He is good actually. But he doesn't have the charm, I feel. You know, the off-screen and onscreen liveliness. Perhaps I am wrong, but I feel when you don't come from a big-shot family, you need to set yourself apart from the first movie. I always root for the outsiders though. So, it will be great if he makes it big.

YRF is still syncing with Ranveer for very mainstream movies, and as long as he branches out to other production houses...is able to get movies with other directors...Hirani, Akhtars, Dibakar, Tigmanshu, Bhardwaj, ROM, etc. he can definitely survive and that too with much more variety than if he was in the good books of Karan's camp only. There's plenty of roles to go around. If even SSR can make a niche for himself despite being from TV, Ranveer sure can too.

I think he wants to become a director more than he loves acting. He was positively glowing when Komal Nahta was asking about the technicalities behind the movie and scriptwriting. It makes him happy, I feel. I mean, he helped the scriptwriters with the language of RL. That alone should tell you something. He is pretty educated, unlike most other Bollywood stars. He should get into direction too.

Don't say that. We'd be stuck with Ranbir all through and they'll probably name him God or something when the Khan's go. 😆

Ranveer has yrf to fall back on if his he has a few flops, hopefully this doesn't happen and he continues to garner BO and critical success. He seems to be the blue eyed boy and favourite of the production house. He also has made strong connections with great directors such as SLB and motwane.

He was part of a lot of the creative process of ramleela such as picking the costumes in Gujarat and being part of the music sessions, he is someone who fully loves every part of movie making and I can totally see him start scriptwriting, directing and producing in the future.

Why is everyone bashing rk about ranking PC lowest in the actress ques, last season Priyanka too ranked Harman base ja higher than him in acting. Like seriously ? Clearly they both aren't find of each other

I have to say Thank you for Ranbir for turning down a film like Band baaja baarat because Ranveer Singh was so perfect for that movie. I would've NOT loved the film if overrated RK was in the film. Glad RS was chosen for it

At the end of the day it's ranbirs opinion, like we don't agree on each other's opinions all the time in this forum.

Ranbir is a great actor and is in the industry to stay for a long time whether people like him or not.
