Sonam welcomes Katrina who is the latest actress to join the beauty brand endorsed by her

Sonam Kapoor has been endorsing the international beauty brand L'Oreal for years. In fact, she was the last actress (after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) signed by them. Now Katrina Kaif joins the ranks. While there were reports of ARB not being happy when the younger actress was brought
on board, Sonam is thrilled with the entry of Kat into the brand.
While most actresses are possessive and territorial about the products they endorse, Sonam has always been known to be secure in her space. We hear when Sonam heard that Kat was signed, she went out of her way to make her feel welcome. The actress even called her and welcomed her into the family so to speak. It is learnt that the brand managers from the company also informed the other brand ambassadors including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Freida Pinto but it was Sonam who reached out to Katrina.
Informs a source, "The international beauty brand wants to introduce an affordable line of hair and cosmetic products. When Sonam was asked for her preferences for the new addition, she suggested Kat's name. Unlike most contemporaries, Sonam has always been very fond of the senior actress, even though they have not worked together. Kapoor finds her senior dignified and admires her for how she conducts herself professionally and personally. She feels that Katrina has made it on her own and respects her for that." Katrina will endorse a new shampoo and make-up product.
In an industry where envy and insecurity go hand-in-hand, Sonam's gesture comes as a refreshing change. Interestingly, Katrina is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor " who was linked to Sonam during the making of Saawariya.
