SRK to have 2 releases in 2014?

Update on SRK's film with Maneesh Sharma

Industry is abuzz with rumours surrounding Shahrukh Khan's film with Shuddh Desi Romance' director Maneesh Sharma.

If a source from Yash Raj Films' is to be believed, SRK might soon sign on the dotted line and start shooting for the film in June 2014 - soon after the next season of the Indian Premiere League.

If everything goes according to what's being planned, the shooting schedule of the untitled film might be wrapped up before the release of Happy New Year'. (scroll down below the image to read rest of the article)

The source also added that the makers (YRF) are targeting a Christmas 2014 release, setting up a clash with Ranbir Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet.

If the rumour turns out to be true, Shahrukh will have two releases in 2014 - Farah Khan's Happy New Year which releases during Diwali and Maneesh Sharma's next which could release during the New Year celebrations!

When asked if he has already signed the film, Shahrukh said "Not yet, when I do the film I will let you all know. I haven't started anything new. I will be working on Happy New Year for the next two months. After that, there are 2-3 film offers. Whenever the film gets designed, I will decide accordingly"

However, Khan also said that Maneesh Sharma's film is on top of the list "I will take holiday after I finish Happy New Year, as last time I did not take it after completing Chennai Express. I jumped on to my next film immediately. I will take a month off and then start a new film. There is Maneesh Sharma's film on top, Rahul Dholakia's movie and few other film offers on which I will take a call soon"

^As if that's going to happen. 😆 Nahh I don't know him that well but he makes some thngs obvious... he doesn't want to announce or confirm anything at all even though HNY must be 50+% done...so I'm guessing he's not excited. That Dholakia script he read like 6 months ago. Its just because of Farhan that he hasn't said no outrightly. Salman has announced some 10 films, same with Ranbir, Akshay...Aamir is so slow no one cares anyways...and SRK doesn't want to announce anything. 😆 I think he's just throwing names around so people get off his back for a little bit about not doing anything worthy of his nonexistent talent. Then he will go back and do what he normally does...there's enough people excited about Shetty and Chopra anyways. The rest of us don't matter.

I'm missing him on screen already...or maybe for the past couple of years. He should do some serious roles for a change from here on..wanna see at least one person who can act in BW on screen... play a character which convince the audience...
