Shit like this makes me so mad. Not because I have something personally invested in this project but this blame game is so beneath everyone. I wish they would just own it to and say, "Hey it didn't work but we're still proud of it." Like John did with that No Smoking movie. Or just say, "I knew half way through it won't do well but I gave it my 100%." Like Karisma did when she was on Anupama's show.

I am a fan of IK, Bebo and Punit. I followed the film through out.

The first problem was casting Bebo...I really really liked IK Bebo in EMAET and I thought they were a good pair...personally I think they are cute together...but considering the Indian junta...that pair is doomed...there was no excitement when the movie was announced...people complained about the pair...I really wanted Sonam in it...but oh well I supported the casting decision. And I just hated the reasons people complained like Bebo is older than IK!

When the posters came out, I was like meh. The music was so so...even though the songs were club hits...they just were not good enough for a rom com.

Now the biggest problem...the reason numbers are so low...because the release date sucked. Nobody releases a rom com with a pair that people did not like before between two huge movies! February would have been a better time. Even if it flopped it would not have been disaster at least!

The movie is not that bad - it got mixed reviews. People who saw it liked it.

That is my post mortem.

karan is REALLY furious with his own decision...

I think as a producer or even a director you should face your successes as well as ur failures. If gtpm failed then he should have the guts to face the media and answer their questions about it, whats the worst that going to happen.
