OH GOD. This Nawaab is full of himself. Why is he doing bollywood films then? Get out of India and go to France or something... live there ...
Someone needs to shit on him.

If I remember right, Saif kept interfering a lot in the making of the film...to the point where he even got Kareena's character got added after the script was done. Sure AV didn't live upto expectations,...many things went wrong, but I just find it weird how he has washed his hands off of the film like he had nothing to do with what went wrong...and it was all Sriram's fault.

He did the same for Cocktail. Then even for Race 2 he doe the same. Its like he wants nothing to do with his films after they're done...because they're so "bad"! No wonder folks are like why should we watch your films if you yourself think they suck.

Where did he blame Sriram? He constantly says WE made a bad film. I think he once said something like maybe Sriram wasnt the right director to make a massy commercial film coz Sriram has his own strengths. Pretty much what Sriram's fans said before the release, Saif realized and said now in retrospect.

He's also one of the few actors who can laugh at his failures. Last year, his home production Agent Vinod " touted as Bollywood's version of James Bond " blew up at the box-office, not in a good way.

"Ok, I wasn't good in that one. I watched it the other day on DVD and it started off with much promise. But it was rubbish after. I am sorry about that. Failure is a part of what we do and it's important that we experience it. I am glad that we made an attempt with Agent Vinod and that we went wrong." Perhaps it's this attitude that makes him popular with his co-stars.

And it's true. Saif has a self depreciating sense of humor. He doesnt just do it for his films, he does it for himself. Making statements like "I was never good looking. I've grown into someone who can look acceptable" or "People compared me to my mother when I was younger. I think it's coz they meant I looked like a girl"

It's Saif's nature. He'll laugh at his OWN past, his OWN victories, his OWN failures.

In a way, completely opposite from Kareena, who tries to glorify everything about herself, her films, her family, her friends.

They both are extreme individuals in their approach. But seems like either way, we find something to complain about. So really, they should just keep living their lives

From another interview:

" When I started working in films, after shooting in them, I wanted to see something different. So I don't watch Hindi films. I respect cinema but I don't watch Hindi films because I want to escape from my work after I finish working."

Saif's too straight forward for his own good. Maybe he should start to be a bit more diplomatic.

It's surprising that a public figure in films is choosing to lay out their political opinion so candidly. The film fraternity here, unlike in Hollywood, seems rather focussed on staying absolutely silent about politics, even in an individual capacity.
Maybe they haven't thought about it.

Or maybe there are other factors - are there any adverse consequences?
I don't know! How can there be adverse consequences to saying whatever the hell you want? Either people take you seriously or they don't, it depends on what you're trying to achieve in life, I suppose.

But whatever you guys say is broadcast publicly.
So? How does that make a difference? Really - I mean, does it?

LOL escape from work? You either love it or hate.
He's trying to justify his answer. This is really shitty, so shitty that its laughable.

Its one way to sound STUPID and PRETENTIOUS. Sorry Desigal, He sounds like a f**king twat.

Then maybe he should start lying, what say?

Do you know what Imran Khan said WHILE promoting GTPM?
Bollywood doesnt know how to make love stories, we lie about relationships, that's not how life is.

WHILE PROMOTING HIS ROM COM.
The truth is, I'm sure many actors probably dont watch their films. Saif is just honest enough to blurt it out and say he doesnt. In fact I think I've read other actors saying the same thing. Difference between him and Kareena is that she'll just add that line all the time. Wheras Saif only says it when he's asked to tell what is the last film he watched.

He likes to watch films from Iran, Iraq, shows from England, some old Clint Eastwood films.
It's his personal preference that he dislikes rom coms and loves action and adventure.

Unfortunately, a genre that bollywood isnt too good at. Action adventure. It's largely known for romance.
Saif has seen Paan Singh Tomar obviously. Saif really doesnt watch rom coms or romances even in hollywood. Kareena says she watches those alone, coz Saif doesnt want to.

It's just personal preference. It doesnt mean that he's looking down on something. If you dont like something you dont like something. You dont like a genre, you dont like a genre. You dont like a particular TYPE of film. He's in the film business, but he didnt say he hates watching movies period. He just doenst feel inclined to watch most films that are made in that particular region. It's like not preferring one genre over the other.
In his defense, he has tried to do more films that he personally interested in. He's doing more action films now coz those are the subjects he enjoys. He did a zombie comedy, coz that's his taste.
Of course, balance it out with a race or rom com now and then as a safety net to stay afloat.

"Saif would always read a book between shots. We have seen enough actors pretending to read as they want to show that they are intellectually evolved. But Saif would not only read, he would also write, so I asked him what he was writing. He said, 'I am trying to write down words whose meanings I don't understand, so that when I go back I can look up the meanings of these words.' Saif's English is really good and yet he was trying to improve his vocabulary. It really impressed me"

Oh God this man needs to stop making me fall more in love with him.

This man needs to put a filter and be more diplomatic coz honest doesnt really go down too well with people 😆
I dont understand why we constantly try to control how stars SHOULD behave. Ok, I understand, if someone makes a bitchy comment, uncalled for, shouldnt have done that.
But now it's gotten to a point where we start to feel that this is how they should be in their personal lives.

What they should watch, what they shouldnt watch. If they dont watch this type of film, they are arrogant...say what?
If a man doesnt like what's being made around him coz that's not his type of genre, but decides to get up and say, I want to make some other type of films that I"m interested in (Agent Vinod, Go Goa Gone, Bullett Raja) and he's fairly good at it, what's the problem?

Tigmanshu, who accompanied Saif in Delhi, refutes the no-apology reports. "Saif did say sorry to the waiting mediapersons. But they were not willing to simmer down. They got increasingly restless. It was a closed, cramped space, and one photographer broke into a scuffle. That's when we quit. We decided to leave without doing the event."

Saif has publicly vowed to stay away from Delhi (which is a second-home to the nawab) for all media promotional activities. But his begum Kareena Kapoor who is with Saif in Delhi now, has counselled Saif to keep his cool.

Says a source, "Kareena has been giving Saif tips on how to remain calm under provocation."
