Ranbir's competition ranges from Sushant to the Khans etc..the situation with male actors is far different and there's way more competition. Deepika's competition are only her contemporaries at the moment..who by the way, aren't really doing anything extraordinary right now. In that regards, Ranbir is far ahead. As I said, Deepika just became someone today.

A lot of people had their panties in a bunch because of Ranbir's success prior to Besharam..especially those who felt Ranbir was becoming a threat to the Khans..many wanted Besharam to simply fail..this forum depicted that quite well.

Becoming a threat to khans is just a JOKE..I agree Ranbir is fine actor,Got Star Power,Have BB's but his 6 Yrs film journey can't be compared to 20 Yrs of Khans and he STILL has a looong way to go to give threat to khan..

And Besharam failed not because people wanted it to fail..It failed because of the shit script, and lack of star power of Ranbir to make that a hit,like Salman,SRK or Aamir can make a hit with Shit script.That says enough about Khans.

May be 10 Yrs from now ranbir can be in that place.

😆 as if he has just begun and I can see him another Khan's in next 10 years, if he keeps giving audience good movies.

if you were around post YJHD and right before Besharam..then yes, many people were acting that way around here. 😆 Of course Ranbir has a long way to go to reach the superstardom status that the Khans have reached..however, I do think Ranbir's acting chops vs. theirs is very arguable.

I agree Besharam did fail because of its content..however, that doesn't change the fact that there were certain sects of fans that did want Ranbir to fail with Besharam..that was pretty obvious.

No they don't hate him. They simply want the satisfaction of his career depending on their goddess, as Mogli calls Deepika. 😆
