the cast is not at fault

the fault is other good movies who are in competition

Well, Mere brother ki dulhan released less than 10 days after the maha blockbuster Bodyguard and still got a 7 crore opening. That too two years ago.

Just saying.

Also, forget Katrina, even Parineeti, or heck, even a new face would have had created more curiosity and buzz and thence, a better opening.

Doesn't matter whether the film is shit or not. But at least a good opening would have been guaranteed.

for me imran is boring!!

i will never pay to watch his movies in a theater(except for delhi belly maybe-but this movie ran because of the other two)

bebo was the best part in the promos

the reviews of the movie is not great. maybe the script is lacking

it has a score of 4.4 on IMDB

i am sad for bebo that she took this movie.

the movie had strong competition. K3,RL and SS had better story,star cast and hype than GTPM

if they had released it solo and with no competition then maybe it could atleast be a hit

I would say YESS...Kat's name would have brought in more moolah...than Kareena could...Kat has more starpower than Kareena and Imran combined...but I don't think that the movie would have been a HIT though...

Would a film be a hit with Kat or DP on this release date?

Hell No! Like I've said many a times before, people have spent over 300 Cr this month on movies. They're not spending any more. This is already the highest grossing month EVER!

The timing is all wrong. If a script is bad, then it's bad but Puneet's IHLS wasn't that amazing either. It was a simple story with the right KJo inspired bits in there. I think this movie has the same KJo "format" but it's release date was all wrong.
