Yes it would do better. No one is interested in two has been who already made a flop pair.

Lol, thats only to accomodate kareena. I dont think the story required Dia to be older. Mature yes, but need not be older. The fact is the pair didn't look romantically connected even for a second. Imran's scenes with shraddha are way more interesting, at least for me. The whole second half is such a dud because you don't feel the love between them. The reason why IHLS worked despite being clichd is because the love/attraction between lead pair could be felt.

That I agree with. The lead pair had absolutely no chemistry

Also, they never showed why Sriram and Dia fell in love. It was so random. Like he just runs up to her and says I'm in love with you and asks her for coffee...and that's it. They never bother showing us the rest.
