Funny how tables turn and scales tilt in tinsel town! Turn the clock back 6 months, and Kareena Kapoor refused to appear on a biographical hour long show for a leading news channel because that the program would also features a smaller' star Deepika Padukone in a different episode.

The hapless producer didn't know how to react to that. But six months down the line, Deepika's films have broken multiple box office collection records, raked in nearly 300 crores, and smoothly perched her right on top of the Heroine' race.

And she still has Bhansali's Ram Leela to close the year. Wonder what Kareena has to say to that? Or is it just the common Bollywood pandemic- small' mentality- that Bebo's suffering from?

Well this is a classic case of how time changes things. 😆

You know, I don't even like Deepika...or Kareena for that matter...but how Deepika went from "panauti" to "Lakshmi" is quite something. Classic case of how hard work and determination can really change your destiny. 👏

oh yes, 100%...I was very excited when Kareena was announced for the project and she MAY have played HER part fabulously but the film depended so , so much on the pair's togetherness and connection...which I doubt she would have managed to create as wonderfully as Deepika. She's a gorgeous actress, good actress too (despite her lazy approach) but I am not sure if she will manage to create on screen spark with any of the listed actors above. I say the same for Priyanka too...both KKK and PC are good actors individually...but that's about all.

Someone from Harper's Bazaar was tweeting how she remembers Kareena trying out clothes for the film. One of the Bebo fans asked her if she had any pics. She said yes and tweeted one.

I juts think she should dump KJo and start afresh. I am sure that her pairing with new actors will interest people. It's just that she is stuck with that Imran Kapoor or her husband. That doesn't work. Will never work. People don't like her with Saif onscreen. And they don't like her with Imraan. Why does she keep doing movies with them? If it was Sid M or ARK in the movie opposite her and the movie was a little bit better, then it would have gained a lot of attention.

This forum right now is a perfect example of how success is ultimately worshiped beyond any reason or inclination. Kareena has been getting absolutely smashed (deservedly or not), with even her previous fans going in hard on her and trashing her entire career, while Ranveer has been showered with heaps of praises and adulation, magically reeling in a whole new fanbase and being hailed as the next superstar. Surely and understandably so, it is how this business works, where success is the ultimate and only winner. But it's all funny in light of how stans spend so much time swearing by, worrying, arguing, collecting stats, and brandishing bragging rights about their faves. Today it's these two who are the target of people's extremism...'they either hate you or love you,' and tomorrow it'll be someone else, and so on, all replaceable...eventually only money and rising sun are the last 'men' standing. Succeed and they forgive everything. Fail, show flaw, or live your life the way you want and they forget everything.

Hey, I'm her die hard fan, and I'm still standing by her. 😊
