don't worry about it, we should get to 90 crores today, and sunday is supposed to be where most of the collections come so hope we get a good number for sunday, then its just about inching towards 100 crore for the rest of the week, I hope we get there but I am just hoping for 90 crores today before anything else.

Moreover, I think if the distributors and the movie theatre owners realize that both GTPM and SSTG may fall flat, then perhaps there will be some efforts on their part on contact Eros, and do something about it.

the article even said that the theatres owners have no idea why the movie is being taken off screens as its been a week since the release, but like I have always been saying ramleela was performing the weakest in the north/UP area anyway.

The people who files the petition said that they will allow the movie to be screened in UP only if the words 'ramleela' and 'rasleela' are removed fro the title, how childish can they get, preventing the whole area from watching because of two words in the title.

But this Friday is almost 2 Crores less than the day before. 2 crores is a big deal. Saturday collection is the same I hear. Eros needs to close down. 😡

YJHD also showed a huge drop in 2nd Friday collections, we will just have to wait and see what the official collections are for Saturday, I just want it to reach 90 crores today and I will be happy.

Anyway the theatre owners in the article also said that ramleea being banned wont effect their biussness much, this again shows that it was performing poorly in those areas anyway.

'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' might be screened again in UP, after the distributor changed its title sheet. The film was pulled off screens in Noida and Ghaziabad recently after the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court banned the screening of the film in UP, until the words 'Ram-Leela' and 'Rasleela' were removed from the title.

In its ruling, the bench said, "We are only concerned with the use of word 'Ram-Leela' in the title of the film which hurts the sentiments of billions of peoples not only in India but all over the world."

Exhibitors in Noida and Ghaziabad say the production house, Eros, has provided the new title sheet to be displayed in UP. A spokesperson for SRS Cinemas said on Saturday, "We're screening the movie from today in all our halls in UP. We got the changed title sheet." Yogesh Raizada, corporate head, Wave Cinemas, also told us on Saturday, "There is a 99% chance that we start the screening of this film today. We've received the revised title sheet, but it is a catch-22 situation for us. Nobody knows who is going to lead, but sooner or later, everyone will screen it."
The title of the movie has not been changed, it appears - it's simply been removed from the title sheet. Now, the movie will not start with the name 'Goliyan Ki Rasleela - Ram-Leela'. Instead, it will begin straight with the names of the actors, said the spokesperson from SRS Cinemas. The Eros spokesperson only said, "The film is not banned in UP as alleged by some sections of the print and electronic media. We confirm that the film is playing in cinemas in UP."
