Its not often that heroines have as good a role as hero has, but when it happens, they are the ones who take the limelight I guess

Hmm
Back on topic I suppose 😛
That does look like the best answer for it to me

I have been reading critics and twitter feedback-Ranveer is as good as Deepika if not better. Well TM, that's your opinion. Not what most people think about Ranveer in RL

He is a great actor , I always believed his character bittu in BBB was far better than Anushka. IT was his debut that why Anuskha being a bigger star than him got more praise than Ranveer. Bittu character was the reason that BBB was so good.

But I do believe Sona Jee overshadowed him in Lootera because her role was far better than Ranveer in term scope for performance.

I do not think we should dismiss the fact that Ram Leela is JUST Ranveer's 4th film. So this is a very small sample size. Plus, Ranveer has already received so much press for it. So I wouldn't call it being overshadowed, per say because all that press is still HUGE. How many actors get so much hype during their fourth release? Not many at all. Also, I do agree with Somy's point. He does films where both the male and the female leads have equal parts to play. All his films have major roles for the women as well. So of course, the actresses will get more credit. How many commercial bollywood films have meaty roles for women? Not many. So when they do, people tend to remember more and seem to over praise the actresses and under praise the actors. As a Ranveer supporter, I'm not worried about this "trend" (if you will) at all. The guy's doing pretty darn good for someone with just four films in his filmography. I say he's heading in the right direction and will definitely go far just by the sheer versatility he shows in picking his scripts. 👍🏼

Is it some kind of rule that I will have to find Ranveer hot if I happen to find Ranbir hot?
Come up with something better!
And FYI, I don't really find Ranbir hot. I like him as an actor.

Bad luck I guess. He got good roles in all his films but except BBB, he hasn't been praised as much as his co star has been praised in all his films after BBB..from LVRB to Ram Leela.

But he is a good actor.

By the way, I was thinking about this for a while..I think today the contemporary actresses are much more popular than their male counterparts. I don't think Ranbir,Ranveer and Shahid together can get as much media attention as much Deepika,Katrina and Sonakshi will get. I think the male stars these days are turning pale in comparison to the female stars we have in Bollywood these days.
