Why is Ranveer Singh always overshadowed by his heroines? - Page 3

I dont think he was overshadowed...if he was he would have probably been sitting at home without work. If people praise Deepika/Sonakshi/Anushka that doesnt mean he is overshadowed.

I didn't think Ranveer was overshadowed by Deepika in Ram Leela. They both did a wonderful job and were at par in terms of performances.

But if you think in terms of awards, Ranveer will probably get a raw deal this year. The best actor contenders are more likely to be Farhan or Dhanush, even though Ranveer did a remarkable job in Lootera and Ram Leela. Anywho, I hope he wins some awards too, like the best actress awards 2013 were divided last year between Vidya and Priyanka.

The actresses have it easier this year, because there's no Vidya's Kahaani, Sridevi's English Vinglish or Priyanka's Jhilmil for competition. It most likely will be between Sonakshi for Lootera and Deepika for Ram Leela this year, and some of the critics awards will go to the actress from The Lunchbox.

I mean in the way that Anushka and Pari werent even better than him
and though DP and Sona were better; he was pretty good
But even then the heroines in his case get way too much praise in comparison to him
Like say Ranbir, For every person going gaga over DP for YJHD or PC for Barfi, there was one for Ranbir too

Generally we see heroines do mostly flowerpot roles. So when 1-2 movies come along where heroines have a decent role they get more praise I guess compared to the guy even if they might have been equally good. In BW though Deepika and Ranveer will get equally benefitted from RL's success.

No worry.. I m sure he always overshadow heroine in bed.

i thought he was just as good as deepika in ram leela. possibly even better. he had more challenging scenes
