I loved that whole Karsan Bhai side track also...🤣 His scene with Dhankorba were so hilarious! How I wish there was a scene between Ram and Karsan Bhai😆

And can someone please remember and write the cheesy and funny text messages that Ram sends to Leela! ROFL!

There's a few I have in mind, but it's been ages since I've read the R&J play so I dunno if they're correct. R&J fanatics, were there any you noticed?

RL has got to be one of the best R&J screen adaptations I've seen so far.

-Edited- I was confused on the fact that Romeo and Juliet consummated their marriage or not...I thought they never did!😕

Also, I was a bit confused at the end of Ang Laga De...did they or did they not?😕😆

It was only towards the end, that it was clear, nothing happened between them, except that smouldering kiss (Ranveer CAN kiss, can't he?

😆)

For me, some of the most intense and passionate scenes between Ram and Leela were the ones where they are fighting out each other or their emotional sequences...the last one was just so heartbreakingly beautiful! Ranveer's eyes are simply a pool of emotions...what a bundle of talent!👏

Oooh...I just loved, loved, loved that whole episode after they run away!

That one moment when Leela is arguing with Ram that she wants to go out with him and he screams on her to shut-up😲 I swear, Ranveer was so impactful in the scene, that I almost jumped out of my seat on hearing him bellow on her! And then his smile when she answers him back...awww...they are the cutest pair of lovers ever!😳

Ram, all irritated and anxious, 'Kya khyaegi?'

Leela smirks and snarls back, 'Tujhe'

And Ram's smile on hearing that...😳😆

guys i have to hold back my review for tomorrow...

i had to cancel my sunday bookings due to a personal commitment...

i am going on monday...and will update it on the day itself after watching...

can't wait to feel vibrant vision of SLB canvas and DeepVeer magical chemistry on-screen...

my cousins went to watch...and they were bowled by SLB canvas vision and DeepVeer performance and chemistry...it was a beautiful canvas created by SLB and DeepVeer was the soul...

Btw, I loved the kiss they share in Ang Laga De...especially the way it ends...Ram leaving Leela alone in the room...the passion was tempered wonderfully with the trepidation of what was going to happen.

And their first meeting was just ☺️

Ranveer could not possibly be acting in that scene...the look of completely mesmerized and enraptured cannot possibly come out mere acting...it has to come from within!

Btw, where on earth are Kruti, Lovanika, Iheartdeepika etc.?😕

I am in love with Leelas entry scene! She looks so beautiful that I want to cry, and the back ground score in that scene! Monty sharma you genius!
The background score was actually one of the biggest highlights! The one where leela runs and hugs ram in the balcony scene, the music is so romantic and it's stuck in my head!

Zara, the background score was indeed exceptional...especially the music of Lal Ishq playing when Ram collapses on the ground, after being tricked by his friends and seperated from Leela...and then again, when he stares at her while she sleeps and in the end...the music complimented the film so well!👏

I loved Leela's entry scene too...Deepika looked luminous in that scene...just breathtakingly gorgeous!

Also one of my favorite scenes was where Ram and the other expect Dhankorba to join the meeting and Leela walks in...Ranveer's expression in that scene was OUTSTANDING!👏

I watched Ram Leela last night .. and I will give my honest view on it

I have mixed feelings about the movie ..

Although I expected to feel that the love story wasn't built up properly after reading some reviews. but I didn't feel that while watching the movie !

Their first meeting was just wow .. I want to watch the movie again and again to just watch that scene !

I wished if Ram and leela could have some conversation or something instead of ishqiya dhishkiyaon song .. not that it wasn't good, but I just wanted something else..

I liked the second part more that the first .. except some scenes ..

but the climax was so disappointing for me !

I prefer R&J original death .. I wish if SLB thought of something similar to &J death .. Romeo killed himself as he though that Juliet was dead, and she killed her self when she saw him dead next to her ..

Overall, it was a good movie (3.5 stars from me) .. but It left me dissatisfied !

Dissatisfied because there was a huge scope of improvement in term of story while the direction and the Performance of the whole cast was PERFECT ..

Honestly, I wasn't expecting this powerful performance from Deepika.. In the trailer and some songs promo she wasn't very convincing .. but she surprised me in the movie .. what a performance !

I always knew that Ranveer is a talented actor, and he had already impressed me in the song promos ! he did not disappointed me.. It's hard to believe that this is his 4th movie ! I can see him in the top within next few years

Deepika and Ranveer chemistry was so natural , and there so called "vulgarity" was so cute 😆 ..
