Yes, true. Dabbang 2 was a shitty movie but kudos to Arbaaz for accepting the official figure of 150 odd crores.

Well, the producers have really gone overboard with the figures of Krrish 3. Wait before we see Taran and co reporting 300 crores for D3, while BOI reports 200 crores.

The thing with BOI is that they don't have any vested interest. They report as it is. They do seem to love Ranbir and hype his movies, but when it fails (Besharam), they accept it and report the right figures.

It's simple for now:

1. CE 205 crores

2. 3I 202 crores

3. ETT 186 crores

4. YJHD 178 crores

5. Dabbang 2 150 crores

Krrish 3 will probably end at 190 crores.

Thats why I respect the makers of Dabangg2 now. They could have inflated figures. Given Salman's golden run people would have believed it too. But I dont think there was more than 10cr difference b/w BOI and producer's figures.

But isn't it a loss on part of producers ?? Coz if they report higher collections they are even supposed to pay taxes on the same right ?? This movie business is damn confusing

Movie producers do not have to pay the tax .Its the cinema owner who pays the tax from the tickets that have been sold at his cinemas .Producer gets 50 % of net amonut after the tax has been deducted(distributor share) .So producer can give any number they want without worrying about the taxes.

Krrish 3 Unlikely To Hit 200 Crore

Krrish 3 has emerged a blockbuster but is unlikely to hit the 200 crore nett mark due to a big fall in business at the start of the third week at multiplexes. The film has collected a little under 170 crore nett in two weeks and is unlikely to collect another 30 crore nett over the next few weeks.

If we include the dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions then the film may just get past 200 crore nett the Hindi version alone will struggle to hit 200.

Krissh 3 will probably emerge the third biggest grosser ever after Chennai Express and 3 Idiots both of which crossed 200 crore nett. At the moment third place is held by Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger at 186 crore nett which Krrish 3 should surpass as long as business shows the normal upturn on Saturday and Sunday.

Chennai Express is the highest grosses EVERRR!!!!!! Take it haters!!! SRK is the king of box office with 208 crores domestic and almost 18 millions overseas.

Krrish 3 is 170 crores + 10 crores = 180 crores lolll domestic and 6.9 Millions in overseas LOLLL...
