so the movie crossed 150 cr. according to tartan, it didn't beat CE's opening weekend collection, let's see how much it will do overall.

Krrish 3 First Week Box Office Collections

Krrish 3 is on an historic unprecedented run at the box office, as the film has collected Rs 18.11 crore on its 6th day. With yesterday being a working day after Diwali celebrations, the film was expected to drop by 50% or more. But that wasn't the case as North Indian markets were rock-solid throughout the day.

In several circuits, the Hrithik Roshan starrer is carrying the best word-of-mouth for any big-budget release this year and distributors are confident that the film is set for a long run. 200 crore is almost certain now, the Hindi version needs to collect around Rs 84 crore to be the highest grosser of all time.

With 152.98 crore already in the bank from all versions, the first week collections of Krrish 3 should be around 165-167 crore.

The Roshans continue their glorious unbeaten run at the box office, Krrish 3 is all set to be their fourth Blockbuster' in a row.

Krrish 3 First Week Collections

Friday - 25.2 crore
Saturday - 23.2 crore (8% drop)
Sunday - 24.3 crore (5% growth)
Monday - 35.91 crore (48% growth)
Tuesday - 26.26 crore (27% drop)
Wednesday - 18.11 crore (31% drop)
Total Collections in 6 days - 152.98 crore

I think Krrish is doing really well and they need not resort to this manipulations.

According to Boxofficeindia.co.in the total till Wednesday is 128.91( Hindi version). The dubbed versions have done more than 12-14 crores and therefore the total moves up to 140 crores. The difference is 14 crores then which is still less then 20 crores for CE.
Another set of figures is coming from Boxofficeindia.com which says total is 114.25 crores. Again this is for Hindi only and including dubbed versions the total moves on to 126-128 crores. The difference now being around 24-26 crores.

In my view this difference in figures is due to the fact that BOI hasn't counted the dubbed versions and there has been some confusion about the collections from the Hindi version only in the southern states. Dubbed versions have played a major part in it's earnings. With each passing day the earnings from dubbed versions is reducing and hence each passing day we are seeing lesser difference in the official and the BOI figures.

As far as manipulations goes. Every time there is a difference between Official and BOI numbers doesn't mean that producers have resorted to "manipulations" also if that were the case then after the release of "Kites" the same would have been done and today we would remember "Kites" as a Hit at least.

So first week is @ 165 Crs.. 😃 Thats 5 Crs more than my prediction. 😲

Anyone here still have doubt if K3 makes 280 Crs.. 😉 Yup, Ramleela will slow the progress.. esp. in Gujarat.. but after that... another twist in the story..
