no mayb 1cr from dubb versions

1st weekend south business wasn't affected like other circuits!!! it did insane business down south bt from monday it was working day in the south so it dropped by a big margin so i dunt think its more than 1.1cr on monday

so the amount wasn't significant so taran didn't mention unlike weekends

Hrithik Roshan's KRRISH 3 surpasses his AGNEEPATH record

KRRISH 3 has worked with the audience and in the process, Hrithik Roshan has now scored his second successive 100 crore hit after AGNEEPATH (2012). With this, he has joined the likes of Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and John Abraham, each of whom has two centuries against their name.

Not just that as in the process, his film (with a total of ~150 crore so far) has beaten his highest grosser so far - AGNEEPATH (120 crore).

"KRRISH 3 had a good start over the weekend and though pre-Diwali release period meant that 100 crore weekend record of CHENNAI EXPRESS was left untouched, superb collections on Monday and Tuesday (which were holidays in most parts of the country) did the trick. The Rakesh Roshan directed film is doing great guns now," informs a source.

For Hrithik, who worked on the film for over 20 months, this has been a long wait indeed considering the fact that he does only selected films.

"It is always a double edged sword since he puts all his money on one film. Fortunately the strategy has been working for him since the days of ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA (2011). The film came precariously close to being a 100 crore success (it eventually folded up at 90 crores) but AGNEEPATH (2012) and now KRRISH 3 (2013) has resulted in a hat trick of huge successes for him. He is clearly on the top of the game," a prominent filmmaker adds.

The countdown has now begun for the film to race towards the 200 crore mark. Will that happen? In good probability, it would.

BORC: 200 Cr Race - Krrish 3 V/s Chennai Express

This year, we witnessed the momentous rise in Bollywood's Box Office collections with the Shah Rukh Khan- Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express shattering multiple records. While the film released in August, it became the fastest film to reach the Rs. 200 crore mark. However, the recently released Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 has now given the film a run for its money.

In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we pit both the mega films - Krrish 3 and Chennai Express - in a head on battle, taking into consideration their Day-wise collections' breakup. Interestingly, Krrish 3 seems to be doing better and faster business collecting Rs. 153.08 crores in just six days as compared to Chennai Express that collected Rs. 137.10 crores.

Looking at the pace with which Krrish 3 is running towards the coveted 200 crore club, we can safely assume that Krrish 3 will be the fastest film till date to enter it, taking the least number of days.

Highest Non-Holiday Release:
Though released to target the Diwali crowd at the box office, the film including the amount raked up from its Tamil and Telugu shows managed to become the highest grossing non holiday release. Surpassing the prevailing record of Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer YJHD that made 19.45 crores on its opening day. Krrish 3 despite a similar release managed to earn way more and pulled off a whopping 24.25 crores at the box office.

Second Fastest 100 Crore Entrant
The film almost leveled Chennai Express record of being the fastest joiner of the 100 crore club. The SRK-Deepika starrer made it to the club in 3 days (along with collections from paid previews as well).Krrish 3 reached the 100 crore mark in 4 days perhaps suffering at the hand of Diwali festivities that withheld its growth over the festive weekend.

Highest Single Day Collection Ever and Highest Monday
The film recorded the highest single day collections ever made by a Bollywood film. While beforeKrrish 3, Chennai Express held the record by making an opening day income 33.10 crores which was beaten by Krrish 3s whopping Day 4 moolah of 36 crores. That also draws us to the point that Krrish 3s 36 crores on 1st Monday is the highest Monday collections ever recorded. Since it is customary for income to drop on Monday, the semi-holiday Monday worked in favor of the film.

Fastest 150 Crores Joiner
Krrish 3 is the fastest joiner of the 150 crore club. While only few esteemed films have crossed the high octave mark, Krrish 3 reached the same at an unbelievable pace beating even Chennai Express speed which had only made 137 crores by the end of 1st Wednesday (including Paid Prevews) at the box office.

Hrithik's Highest Grosser
The film ranks as the highest grosser of actor Hrithik Roshan whose highest ever was Karan Joharand Karan Malhotra's Agneepath which settled for a lifetime run of 123 crores at the box office. Krrish 3 is less than a week has already surpassed all his previous records with utmost ease.

Priyanka Chopra's Highest Grosser & 4th entrant in the 100 crore club
Though Priyanka Chopra's films have entered the distinguished club before with ventures like Don 2,Agneepath and Barfi!, Krrish 3 has been the highest grosser of them so far besides being her fourth film in the 100 crore club.

Hrithik's Highest Opening Weekend Overseas Grosser
While Hrithik Roshan's star value is quite a rage in the overseas due to the actor's smoldering looks,Krrish 3 that has so far made 25.67 crores ranks as the highest opening weekend film ever record by the actor.
