i am so happiee krrish 3 did it!! full trust on duggu n his brilliance as an actor 😳 the 2 movies above k3 both released on gazzeted holidays ie eid and 15 august and krrish3 on week before diwali.still ratings r so good.ill share my experience...i went to buy tickets 4 monday n it was housefull till all evening shows...mon n tues will prove the weekend for krrish 3...n i dont ustnd whats wrong with some critics...they say k3 is unoriginal ...lol...swthrts only if u were intelligence enough to understand dat superheroes is a unreal concept ...y find sugar in a box f spices n den say it is box's fault 😆

I'd suggest dont celebrate yet. Even Kareena fans started celebrating after first day collections of Satyagrah. After that it finally flopped. 😆K3 has a long way to go till it makes to the even hit category. You can probably celebrate after first Tuesday.

Bollywood's latest release "Krrish 3" has done smashing business on the second day at the Indian box office.

The collection of the Hrithik Roshan starrer declined on Saturday due to Diwali, but the film still managed to rake in 23 crore.

"#Krrish3 is fabulous on Day 2. Despite pre-Diwali festivities at its peak. Collects 23 cr [Hindi + Tamil + Telugu] on Sat. Outstanding!" trade analyst Taran Adrash tweeted.

On the opening day, the film raked in 25 crore from Hindi, Telugu and Tamil versions. The opening day collections are the highest non-holiday figure so far and also the third highest after "Chennai Express" and "Ek Tha Tiger".

The two days combined total of the film stands at 48 crore, which is fabulous considering the festive season.

"Krrish 3" has smashed the two-day record of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and "Dabangg 2" at the domestic box office. "Dabangg 2" had collected 39.1 crore in two days, while "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" had minted 39.61 crore.

The overwhelming response of "Krrish 3" suggest that the film will take its first weekend collection to around 70-75 crore.

The superhero flick is doing extremely well in the overseas markets as well. The total collections of the film on Thursday and Friday in the international arena is 9.26 crore. At the Pakistan box office, the film has raked in 54.88 lakh.

"#Krrish3 Thu + Fri *Overseas* total: $ 1.5 million [ 9.26 cr]. Superb! #Krrish3 has opened to a fab response in Pakistan. Fri biz: PKR 95 lacs [ 54.88 lacs]," Adarsh tweeted.

Sunday's earning of the film might get affected due to the festive season. The film is not expected to cross the 100 crore mark in three days and break the record held by "Chennai Express".

The film is produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan and also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut in important roles.
