3rd day might be 18 cr+ hopefully. Tomorrow the film will witness a big growth since Divali ends.

Nope, it wasn't hard even then.

The thing is back then the internet usage was less and all these trade figures used to come in magazine forms like Film Information (Komal's) and few others. Taran Adarsh's father had been for long in that business that's how Taran came into being. Earlier when BOI was started, he used to take figures from all these trade magazines/journals and used to update in his site based on his bias.

Now the since everything has become online, these numbers people get directly from the distributors via mails, message etc. That's how you see few areas are reported as soon as they complete shows because they have direct contacts, for others you have to wait. Another thing now in addition to that are multiplexes, there are private companies that track the multiplex business through you can hire them and get figures. Some websites post their early estimates based on this tracking system. Single screens are hard to get and that's where all the problem lies. I know all this because I know few people who run such sites 😛.

All these are much more transparent in Telugu film industry. Here the fans get daily numbers as SMS 😆 director from distribution office. In fact if you have doubts sometimes you are allowed to check the DCR's (Daily Collection Reports) too 😉

Till now : 46 Cr total for 2 days

Now it should collect min :

3rd day : 19-20Cr ...this could be possible with tamil+telegu versions

4th day: 30-31Cr ...Must cross 30Cr on monday else long run fig will not be achieved

5th day: 17-18Cr : Its bhai dooj festivel, so 18Cr is not big deal

Sunday has been fantastic in AP. Its bigger than day 1 here and day 1 had a "share" of approximately 2.75 Cr.

east- 17.8 Lakhs
west- 12.1 Lakhs
krishna- 15.4 Lakhs
guntur- 16 Lakhs
nellore- 10.12 Lakhs
uttar andhra - 24.l Lakhs


This is the territory wise break up of "SHARE" for K3 Day 1 in AP. You can also know how much each territory has been sold for and how much the film is finally going to end up collecting, there by knowing its final verdict loud and clearly. This why AP box office is the closest to transparent box office in entire India⭐️. Wonder when will Bollywood report numbers like this.
