Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the film collected around Rs 25 crore on its opening day despite it being a non-holiday Friday. No other film had garnered so much money on a non-holiday opening day. The previous record was held by 'Dabangg 2'. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film's business, "Despite pre-Diwali and non-holiday, #Krrish3 takes a fantabulous start.
