sorry i donno about that also..

but since what i have known is a predewali release means not a good opening becos every1 is busy in pujas..

i think mostlyharmless or DB can explain the facts properly.

But surely, krrish 3 is d highest diwali opener for bollywood now..

SRK movies release on Diwali open well then crash at night bcuz entire north India is busy celebrating
Then recover on day after Diwali biggwst day of the year bcuz most school colleges shops, business are closed
K3 released two days before Diwali so it will crash at night for fri, sat and sun due to Dhanteras shopping, choti diwali, kali pujan and lakshmi pujan on diwali
so opening day and weekend of CE are out of question
but it was aiming for non holiday record and it bagged it

In bollywood history most film release on diwali day just like Ra one and jthj both release in diwali days and secend day is holiday but krrish come before three days and the holiday is on mondey i mean 4 days from the release thats the difference

The Films releasing on Eid or Christmas usually fare better than Diwali releases because in Diwali...major part of India is busy in Poojas and Diwali's preparations...Its a full-fledged 5 day festival which requires people to stay at home...rather than go out for shopping or enjoying...so that's why the trends!😳

Thanks for the clarifications guys :) Cuz I was under impression that Indians get long holidays for Diwali

What about Christmas? Is it a big holiday for Indians like Eid? If so Dhoom will have a good chance to fetch revenue isn't it?

Diwali is the biggest Holiday...followed by Christmas and Eid😳

But Diwali is meant for worships at home...so it does not matter how many holidays we get😃😆

Christmas like Eid is big bcuz its a public holifay obsered natioally when majority i.e. hindus and muslims dont evem celebrate it
plus winter break in edu instituions mostly start from 25 to 1
But its releasing on 20 so opening records again out of qiestion
its aiming for CE lofetime like k3
