I feel sad Richa Chadda isn't promoted enough😭. She is such a good actress.

Heck even that tangaballi was part of promotion (Chennai express)

I think they are hiding the supporting cast for the movie, I mean you can't give too much away and the rest of the cast are extremely important in the movie and I think will be the surprise element. Not knowing about the other characters is what is getting me so excited, it leaves a mystery element.

A plea was filed in a local court today demanding a ban on the release of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone-starrer'Ram Leela' for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments.

The film by noted Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to hit the theatres on November 15. The complainant, Amit Arya of Patna, through his lawyer Kumar Shankaram raised objections to the title of the movie and alleged that the depiction of "obscene mujra song" had put the Hindu gods in poor light.

The petitioner submitted a CD of the film's trailor in support of his complaint.

Ranveer Singh had come to Patna last week to promote the flick.

Ranveer, do people confuse you with Ranbir? Do you consider him competition?
Ranveer: Yes, all the time! It can be confusing, especially if you are not a follower of Hindi films, as our names sound similar. I remember during the promotions of Ladies VS Ricky Bahl, there were these two guys arguing with each other as to who was I. 'Yeh toh Ranbir Kapoor ke chhote bhai hai' said one! As for the answer to your second question, Ranbir has set the benchmark and is leading the way for all young actors. His films have delivered and his performances have been fantastic. I have great respect and admiration for him.

This was the perfect answer. He's not shying away from the comparisons because he recognizes that at least for now, Ranbir is the bigger name and the most respected of his contemporaries. There's no getting around that and I'm glad Ranveer didn't try. I think he's prepared for the comparisons, especially with Deepika involved, but even without her, I think they are the two that will be pitted against each other in the coming years. Ranveer absolutely gets that and he handles the question with a touch of humour and his usual directness, while giving Ranbir the professional respect he's earned. That's class. I just love this guy.

Some of us had guessed it right when we said that the last few days before the release of the film would be the highpoint of the film's promotions...and this is exactly what is happening.

I think people got worried because the trailer released almost 2 months before the release of the film and there was barely anything in between...compounded by Ranveer's illness and Deepika's film committments!

But I am glad, that they are pulling out all stops to promote the film...and its working like anything! The buzz is very, very strong now and with all the last minute interviews, media appearances etc. plus the new promo's...as KN says, the opening day should be fantastic!
