RamLeela also got 1 million views on day 1,like Dhoom3 with much less hype.

But look at the likes Dhoom3 has..huge fanbase of Amir Khan..which will reflect in the opening.

Krrish and dhoom are in a completely different league, there's no point comparing ramleela to those movie. However the movie people are most looking forward after dhoom and krrish is ramleela, that puts it in a strong position.

Krrish doing or not doing well is not going to affect RL...this is not like CE and OUATIM 2...and in anycase, there is a 15 day gap between both the films...that's a long enough time for a film to do well and the intial hype to die down.

If the gap was just one week or if RL was releasing shortly before Krrish...then it would have affected the film's business!

And as always, if the film is good, then it will do well on its own steam...there are innumerable examples of big films releasing on the same day and turning into BB's!

Ranveer Singh to promote 'Ram Leela' in Lucknow today
Actor Ranveer Singh is visiting Lucknow today to promote his latest film 'Ram Leela'. Although the city would have loved to host his co-star Deepika Padukone too, but we were told she is promoting the film elsewhere and Ranveer will be the only one promoting the film here in the city.

This is Ranveer's first visit to Lucknow after he shot here for his film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl in 2011.

The actor is expected to perform at a college after which he will be visiting a mall before heading back to Mumbai. Yesterday Ranveer was in Patna where he charmed his fans and we expect the same to happen in Lucknow today.

The promotions of RL are a bit strange...though, I have to say that both Ranveer and Deepika are doing a lot of interviews, appearances etc...but why seperately?😕

Are they trying to cover more ground by promoting the film seperately? Odd!

This is not like Krrish or Dhoom 3, where actors can make individual appearances in shows...RL is a love story...the USP of the film is not Ranveer or Deepika individually, it is them together!

Hope to see them together in Dubai atleast!
