I made no such prediction, box office wise, it will make records, but how much money some producer makes is irrelevant to me, as a viewer, it's a disappointment.

Why is it that the reaction to any critical view is responded with the off-the-shelf default remark - "Who cares, it will create records"? 😆, it's like who cares about the film, we only care about records 😆, why a viewer is obsessed with records when he has no stake in the profits, is a concept that eludes me deeply.

The fact that a film like CE made records, just shows the sad state of the Bollywood industry.

You misunderstand me blue-ice ji, I'm not talking about box-office records, I'm sure it'll make a lot of money, and the fact that it doesn't take much to create records in Bollywood says a lot.

What I meant was that as a viewer, I felt no dhoom, I wasn't blown away by the trailer, it's like a B-grade Hollywood action movie, with the same generic sequences you've seen in about 50 Hollywood movies, and just because it's got Aamir Khan in the film, people are praising and singing sonnets about it, if it had anyone else, say Ajay Devgan, it wouldn't have got half the praise it's receiving.

We are stuck in mediocrity.

had no hopes from dhoom3 after watching dhoom2. n trailer was bad. not interested in this one. 👎🏼
