Katrina shoots tough action scene with Saif in Beirut

It was rumored a few days back that Katrina Kaifwas holidaying and partying with beau Ranbir Kapoor in London. But all the grapevines fell flat when it was gathered that the actress who is a thorough professional was shooting for her next film with Saif Ali Khan in Beirut.
The film has a working title as Daniyal Khan'. A friend of Katrina said, This image of a love-struck kitten who follows her loved one everywhere he goes is just not Katrina. She truly resents the attempt to make her appear like that."
The friend further added, "Katrina has just completed one of her toughest roles in 'Dhoom 3'. She is now getting ready for another big challenge. Kabir Khan's new film has her playing a role that would demand high-velocity stunts from her. She would have to train along with Saif Ali Khan for the action scenes in Beirut."
In October, Katrina flew to Beirut and the film went on floor on October 20th. The movie is directed by Kabir Khan and is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Producer Sajid, who had a lower back injury recently, will be joining the crew in Beirut in some time. Sajid is rakhi brother of Katrina and is also a very dear friend of Salman. He had decided that he would never cast any of Salman's ex girl friends in his movies. But with Katrina he broke his rule and went ahead to cast her in Kabir Khan's next directorial. Incidentally, it was Kabir who convinced Sajid to rope in Katrina. Kabir had earlier worked with Kat in New York' and Ek Tha Tiger'. He was impressed with her work and professionalism and hence wanted to cast her in his next movie.
Saif and Katrina worked together in Race 2'. Sajid Nadiadwala has a grand presence in 2014. He has lined up five releases in the coming year. All are big budget movies. Says a source close to Sajid Nadiadwala, "Corporate production houses may be habituated to releasing 4-5 films per year. But 5 films within a year from an independent producer is a unheard of . Not only has Sajid lined up these films for 2014, he also has production plans for 2015 chalked out. Imtiaz Ali's film for Nadiadwala with Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starts shooting in April 2015."
Says Sajid Nadiadwala, "It's a sheer coincidence that five of my films are all coming during the same year. I hope I do my job sincerely and make it a worthwhile viewing experience for the audience."
