Ayan's superhero trilogy sounds dumb too. Ranbir is going SRK way..with the coterie and working with them only. Ayan, Basu, and Imtiaz. Its a cycle. Adi doesn't do 3 film deals with the big stars...he is kanjoos and probably won't agree with the profit sharing demands Ranbir will have. so Ranbir will have to work with those directors under his PH, or another PH. 😆

Oh and Anu the damsel in distress..we know how those stories end!😉

Actually it's just about everyone! ajay had prakash jha and rohit shetty till recently! sallu doesn't need a director! akshay with nadiawala and abbas mustan and that darsheel guy(the one who made Bewafaa) and now prabhudeva..everyone gets comfortable with their people but Akshay does a special 26 or an OMG in between! That's what I like about him! Aamir is probably the only guy who doesn't repeat directors but with 1 movie in 5 years he doesn't need to! Hrithik has Karan Malhotra and papa Roshan! Even Imran has Punit Malhotra🤣

So I understand how camps work and how it's normal..but I don't like it!:/

That's true, everyone has those directors they work with again and again because they've done some good work in the past and they're comfortable together. Aamir repeats Hirani. 😆 But yeah he takes so long to do one movie that it doesn't matter. 😆

It just gets boring after a certain point...there's only so many ways the same director can present you.😆

Ranbir has handled his career pretty brilliantly up until now but I agree, I wish/hope he works with a more varied group of directors. It is way too early in his career to start building a 'camp'. He'll become insular and repetitive and there'll be no 'fresh eyes' to challenge him as an actor. That's the last thing he should want at this stage in his career. Now is the time to experiment, with movies and directors.

SRK brought charm to Raj which I can't see many doing. I rate Raj from DDLJ as one of SRK's best performances because he took a simple character and turned it into something extraordinary and memorable. Not everyone has the skill to do that with the typical, filmy characters. I can already see how Ranbir would do a Raj and though I'd love to see how Ranveer would've attempted it..I don't see anyone pulling it off as convincingly as SRK.

Hell to the No! Srk was perfect as Raj. His suave, charisma, screen presence, the way he romances Simran...hell no can't see Ranbir doing as well as Srk. Ranveer maybe..but he still won't be as perfect as Srk.
