I try and judge every actor / actress with every film they do...

An actor is only as good as their last film, atleast for me!

And yup...I tend to judge them based on their personal life too...I try not to, but sometimes, its very difficult not to hate Katrina when she refers to Dal as 'Yellow Sauce'😕😆

And similarly, its hard not to go mushy and awww...when SRK talks about his family and kids!

But a film influences me a great deal more than the actor in question!😊

PS: For example, I detested Ranveer Singh for no good reason till I saw Lootera...and that one film made me change my opinon about him completely! Now let me see if he can keep up this positive opinion about himself in Ram Leela!

I judge actors the way they wants us to judge them ie thru what they let us know thru their PRs as well as their work. Like if Ranbir compares himself to the Khans automatically he is supposed to be as good at them in BO pull. If its someone like Irfan Khan it will be truly acting and how well critics rated him as well as awards he wins.

This is so true..You try your best to judge them based on their talent but its impossible not to judge them based on their personal life😆 Its just that i firmly believe they all are the same..No one is better than the other when it comes to morality, ethics and all the jazz😆 Oh and about Ranveer, its honestly funny..The poor thing was bashed like no tomorrow just a few months back on this very forum..And now, i see loads of converts who gush about the awesomeness of Ranveer Singh..I can bet its not just Lootera cos IMO Sonakshi stole the show..She was mind blowing..Which makes me believe it is most definitely the herd mentality at play😆 There might be a few like you who genuinely changed their opinion but i do think a lot of them say it just for the sake of it cos thats the trend in the forum..Am not sure if i made sense here😆

Ya...I totally agree on the herd mentality...its in full bloom on Bolly Forum!😆

And the funny part is that people don't so much support or diss an actor in question because of what they are...rather because of whom they are dating or cheating on!😆

Like Salman fans, as a rule hate Katrina Kaif...and now they hate Ranbir because those two are together.😆

And Ranbir and Katrina fans hate Deepika, because Ranbir used to date her and also because she is giving one blockbuster after another.😆

I judge actors based on how much paisa vasool I get from their movies. Their personal life matters zilch for me. If I do make some comments on their personal life on the forum, it's only irk some memebers, otherwise it's of not my damn business😆

Ofcourse if the celebrity has a great personality, I do become a huge fan like SRK But it never stops me from being critical of his acting talent when called for!!
