This is why I miss them, they're such a refreshing pair and it was so nice to see that two young stars can be genuine without playing the relationship card (which is ironic because I want them to date god damn you Shotgun Sinha and your conservative mannerisms 😡

I love how Lootera and Vikram were the only things these two cared about and both of them fangirling/boying over the music and Trivedi too

I didn't even bother about the Once Upon A Time promotions with her and Imran. Imran's wayy too boring for my liking.

LOLL yeah the epic spit story..I like how brought up from time to time and Sonakshi was all cool with it, just laughed along etc..even though that story gave her bad press because it made her seem arrogant.

Did you see that episode where they go on the sets of some show ..where Sonakshi is wearing that blue sari I believe. Ranveer and her are about to shoot a scene and right before..Ranveer sees how his jacket's cuff is unbottoned and tries to button it but before he even tries Sonakshi takes his hand and buttons it for him. LOL I just loved their moments..they weren't one after the other so whenever they DID happen, I switched on my fangirl mode.

Well whatever happened has happened. Hopefully Anushka can atleast stay courteous towards him because she will certainly get those annoying questions about who she prefers as actors or who she has most chemistry with etc. About them being rude, I think it just shows a bit of closeness they used to have.

Anyway, I don't mind whoever Ranveer chooses just let it be drama free.

Past two days I've been catching up on a bunch of Front Row interviews from the last little while and I was watching the one where Anushka came on to promote MKBKM with Imran. While answering one of the questions, Ranveer's name as an example rolled off of her tongue very quickly in making a point - that someone like her or Ranveer have an advantage as outsiders and over star kids because they don't have to deal with pressure. That was a bit of a surprise for me because it's been a long time since they've really talked about each other besides the times that Ranveer is asked about his relationship with her and after there's been talk of distance between them. She isn't very articulate and neither expresses herself with tact so it says something I think when she so randomly and quickly slipped Ranveer's name as an example. I think they both have and will always have a soft spot for each other - but as are the trappings of modern day careers and especially this one, they're too self-centred and emotionally unstable to be able to cater to a healthy and lasting relationship. They've got volatile personalities, which works for friends, but unless one of them does a 180 and majorly calms down, there's surely no possibility of romantic success 😆

Otherwise I am sure we both know how he can be so theatrical on other occasions. It was a treat to watch Ranveer's calmer, simpler side. I'd like to credit Sonakshi when it's due, she's really, really genuine (or just a great actor!), even with her other co stars be it Akshay or Salman, she does not go overboard and that's refreshing. Her best appearances have been on reality shows with Ranveer...the two just have so much fun together on such shows.

@RamLeela: you know more than anything else, I am just excited for the movie. I am not sure if I will consciously invest my time during its promotions. 😆😆 We both have a general sense of how it may end up like...so just because I want my excitement for the movie to be maintained, I am going to alienate myself from the gimmicks as much as I can.

exactly..that was probably the only time I saw Ranveer actually talk rather than feel hyper and all over the place.

yeah I agree ..I may skip the promotions myself only because I already have made plans to watch Ram Leela in theaters and I do not want to cancel those plans for something as stupid as RL's promotions ticking me off. 😆

^^ Volatile is the word. Ranveer - Anushka are too similar, too emotional, and that makes their relationship very unstable, at least if they're romantically involved. The comfort he shared with her, I have yet to see him share with anyone else; but at the end of the day they're better off being friends. Unless they both quit Bollywood. 😆 Anushka has been thru so much in the past 2 yrs, she's usually targeted on the forum (rightly so! some of her statements have rubbed people in the wrong way), but I hope next yr she's able to find stability at least on the professional front.

She has always and probably will always continue to pick SRK as her favourite co-star and all the variations of that question, it's the safest answer 😆

On an aside, I really hoped Ranveer would be cast in Bombay Velvet because LVRB did not do justice to his and Anushka's pairing, especially on the footsteps of BBB. Would've gotten to see more of them together once again, but I hope they'll get an amazing movie, with an amazing script, headed by an amazing director in the upcoming year or two, after they grow more individually and figure themselves out.

I have seen that interview and I was totally surprised when she mentioned him because it was during MKBKM time there was talk about a fight and distance between them yet when she randomly brought that up to make some weird point that didn't make sense, I felt she was kinda lost.

She was alright during BBB and LVRB, she spoke normally though still very brazen but still normally because Ranveer would help her out. He even had a nick name for her because she always speaks before thinking(not that Ranveer is an expert). I felt she might have had some confidence issue at that time.
