Yup Ayan is Rani and Kajol's cousin. He and RK became friends during the filming of Wake up Sid.

Ayan worked for the first time with Ranbir on 'Wake Up Sid'...Apparently, he made Ranbir cried when he told him he couldn't act on the first day of shooting...then they became good friends...seriously, their love for each other remind me of KJo...particularly because Ayan reminds me of KJo...Ayan is the cousin of Rani and Kajol..
