^^I really had no idea abt this movie until now so I am quite surprised that it was promoted...I must have missed the promotions. I just remember on TV they were showing PC and some man from the audience doing some weird dances...was that part of Zanjeer promotions?? if u know what I am talking about...LOL

I have never liked Masand. He is just a jealous faggot. He is a biased bitch. Not that im a huge Ram Charan, fan but came back from watching the movie yesterday, though usually im not one of those who is really into mass movies. I surprisingly sat through the movie as its 2 hours long exactly let me tell you. It doesn't fit into the category of RGVs Aag thats another whole world of terrible cinema itself.

Yeah Ram Charan shines only at times and Pecee is heck annoying but her role is significantly better than Jaya Badhuris role in the original Zanjeer.
It makes a tad bit more sense.
In the end if you are just looking for time pass and entertainment Zanjeer is a good choice.

ZANJEER Lags Behind But SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE Packs A Solid Punch

After few disappointments in month of August, box office is dried up after record breaking success of "Chennai Express". This week two releases try in their luck at box office. While "Zanjeer" is targeted for single screen audience and on contrary SDR is for urban and youthful audience.

As we predicted, "Zanjeer" has taken real slow start at box office with around 20-25% occupancy all India. Despite being bigger release, film is showing signs of struggle since morning. Film did not show any sign of revival and it looks tough task at box office. As per early estimates, film should collectapproximately 3.5- 4 cr nett on day one.

"Shuddh Desi Romance" was released in a much smaller scale but opened to better response of 35%. Film was strong all over and witnessed jump from evening onwards and looks to score big at box office in coming days. As per early estimates, film should collect 7.75 cr nett on day one which is simply outstanding considering cast and release.

I haven't seen it. But I did see photos of PC and Ram Charan on Indian reality shows like Jhalak and some other shows,...that's probably what you saw.

Zanjeer First Day Business

Zanjeer did poorly on day one as it collected around 3 crore nett on day one not including the business from its Telugu version Thoofan.

The film was dull all over with collections in Delhi and Punjab being just awful. Maharashtra fared best for the film but was still very low.

The Hindi version of the film has no chance and is a disaster as it can't go anywhere from such a low starting point. It will be up to its Telugu version Thoofan to give it the makers some returns though considering how bad the Hindi version it will be a surprise if the Telugu version sustains in long run.
